Felt like I needed to balance out all the glowing reviews of this product. Regardless of its hefty, DSLR-level price, it is still a consumer-grade product, and a Panasonic at that. I hardly notice any improvement from a 5+ year-old Canon camcorder I normally use, and some definite worries as well.

One of the best entry level camcorder in the market. The intelligent zoom and the optical image stabilizer works very good.

It's just what I wanted. It shoots excellent videos, small in size and all controls are easy to access. I did buy an extra battery and a 64GB card. The unit came with some very nice attachments that will come in handy. I'm very satisfied with this digital camcorder.

This is the first camcorder I have ever had, but can tell you, this is great for the beginner and every day use. A great buy, have always trusted Panasonic products. highly recommend this to anyone.

A good buy at the sale price. The LCD is readable at any angle. The camera turns on/off by opening/closing the LCD door. It's ready to record in the most recent configuration by opening the LCD door--Just press the record button; press again to stop; close the door to turn off.

Great video quality. I originally wanted the 4K version, but this is good enough for my purposes and works quite well in low-ish light. The feature I need is a 3.5 mm connection for an external microphone and this has it. I haven't had a chance to use it much yet, but so far I'm impressed.
