Apple iPhone X

After a week of using the iPhone X, we can say with confidence that Apple has created a revolutionary and almost magical device. While it may not be as significant as the original iPhone, it introduces several new technologies that redefine the experience and move the needle significantly ahead.

Face ID is a game changer; New Super Retina OLED screen provides a whole new level of display quality; iPhone "Plus" dual-lens camera system in an iPhone 8-sized package; Wider aperture and OIS on 2X lens should provide better 2X photos.

The higher aspect ratio means the screen isn't actually larger than the iPhone Plus models, despite the larger diagonal; The front TrueDepth camera notch and rear camera bump detract from an otherwise great aesthetic; Lack of Touch ID makes Apple Pay slightly less convenient.

Charges slowly

Nice phone, takes great photos, good battery life my only complaint is that no fast charging out the box, Apple charges over premium for this phone and can't even include accessories needed for full potential, you still need to spend over $50 to get fast charging working unacceptable at this price...

iPhone X review: Apple finally knocks it out of the park

The iPhone X is without a doubt the best iPhone Apple has ever made, and it represents a much needed leap forward in design for the company. It still runs the same apps as other iPhones and has the same camera on the back and the same processor and memory as the iPhone 8 Plus.

brilliant screen; all-screen design; great camera; good battery life; water resistant; wireless charging; Face ID

no headphone socket; no fingerprint scanner; glass will break if dropped; very expensive; no expandable storage or removable battery; no fast charger in the box; the notch

Apple iPhone X (256GB, Space Gray) AU - Excellent review

For Apple's most passionate loyalists—the ones who upgrade their iPhone once a year, possibly after waiting in line for hours on the sidewalk—there's a certain kind of magic about unboxing and setting up a new Apple device.

Apple iPhone X review

The anniversary iPhone is here. The iPhone X. Or the iPhone 10. The name is as confusing as the product itself is game-changing. Tim Cook's vision finally overwhelmed Steve Jobs ideological remnants. A new dawn for the iPhones has begun, free of the iconic Home key and the notorious screen bezels.

Apple iPhone X

The iPhone X is Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone. Announced at the same time as the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus, but going on sale a little later, the device is Apple's flagship phone and features all of its latest camera technology.

Apple iPhone X

The iPhone X sets the stage for Apple's next decade, with a sharp new design and a future focus on augmented reality.

Updated design; Powerful processor; Excellent screen; First-of-its-kind augmented reality front camera; Animoji are really fun

Very expensive; Apps need to be reprogrammed to take advantage of display; Not the fastest modem

Apple iPhone X: The Gizmodo Review

I'm a total gadget nerd, and it's been five years since a new smartphone made me nod to myself with the understanding that, "Yes, I need that thing more than I need air." But the buzz around the iPhone X has had me a little more hyped than usual.

iPhone X review: the best you can get

iPhone X has it all. Obviously it's not for everybody, but as the most premium of premium phones there's none better.

Desirable design; Face ID is ace; Excellent cameras

So expensive; Side button controls annoy; Notch means some app quirks
