Apple iPhone X Smartphone Review

Apple launches the iPhone X for the iPhone's 10th birthday, which is sold in addition to the "regular" iPhones. The highlight is obviously the OLED screen with very slim bezels. The concept works really well in practice, and we did not miss the Home button.

great display with True Tone; powerful SoC; nice design; great build quality; fast Wi-Fi performance; Bluetooth 5.0; many supported LTE bands; very good dual-camera; IP67

comparatively heavy; storage cannot be expanded; only 12 months warranty; NFC functionality heavily limited; no stereo jack

iPhone X Review: A huge step forward – at a huge cost

The best iPhone I've ever used and one of the most exciting phones of 2017. People will baulk at the price and make silly jokes about the notch, but if you're happy to spend then you won't be disappointed.

Stunning screen; Much-improved telephoto camera; The best-looking iPhone ever; Impressive battery life; Face ID is so much better than a fingerprint sensor

Software needs more optimisation for the taller display and notch; No fast-charging plug included; Very expensive

Like the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, the iPhone X uses Apple's new A11 Bionic processor, a hexa-core chip with two performance cores that are 25-percent faster than the A10, and four high-efficiency cores that the company says are 70-percent faster than the old model.

Beautiful OLED display; Face ID is good enough to replace Touch ID; Animojis; Amazing benchmark performance; OIS on both rear cameras; Portrait mode/lighting on front camera

Notch in display causes issues with many apps; Face ID still has some issues; Really expensive

iPhone X Review: Striking, Stunning and STUPIDLY Expensive

The iPhone X is remarkable and revolutionary – but it's also overpriced and in some regards, represents a step backwards in terms of usability.

Amazing screen; Powerful chipset; Excellent camera

Face ID isn't as good as Touch ID; Expensive

Ever since we used the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus , we've been waiting for the iPhone X . We had our first impressions of the iPhone X a couple of weeks ago. While it described the initial awe that hovered around the device, this is our review of the best iPhone of 2017 after using it for much...

iPhone X review

Whether this is the iPhone of your dreams depends on a lot of things. If you wanted a big screen but you were put off by the size of the iPhone Plus then this is going to be the answer to your prayers.

If you've budgeted for such an expensive phone, you can go right ahead and purchase without hesitation.

+ Stunning design; + Face ID genuinely works; + Excellent camera

- Very expensive; - Notch not great for video content; - Many apps not optimised

iPhone X review: the best iPhone ever, but not good enough

The iPhone X is far and away the best iPhone that Apple has ever made. But with such an exorbitant price and such such stiff competition from the likes of Samsung and others, the iPhone X doesn't distinguish itself enough to earn a full recommendation.

Gorgeous display; Stylish design; Great camera; One of the fastest phones around

Astonishingly expensive; Notch isn't particularly attractive; UI changes are a little off-putting,

iPhone X Review: Here's What Apple Gets Right, And Wrong

The iPhone X may be the most expensive smartphone Apple has offered to date, but it's also really impressive. I love the display, the cameras are awesome, and Face ID works so well it pretty much becomes transparent.

Beautiful OLED screen; cameras are fantastic; Face ID works like a charm (usually

Gestures are sometimes quirky; physical button combos are too complicated; wireless charging is really slow; don't use your iPhone X without a case
