The Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus might not have the bells and whistles or spanking new design of their competitors, but they are still undoubtedly two of the best smartphones in the market. Personally, the dual-camera of iPhone 7 Plus is enough for me to upgrade my iPhone 6s Plus.

The biggest changes for the iPhone and iPhone 7 Plus are under the hood with a new home button, a vastly improved camera, a brighter display, improved performance, longer battery life and a water resistant design.

If you already own last year's iPhone 6s or 6s Plus, there's little reason to step up to the seven. Sure there's a fair few improvements, such as the water resistant design and new better-in-low-light camera, but nothing that'll blow your mind.

Controversy. Apple loves it. It fuels it and it's fueled by it. Rarely is brand hate more vocal and yet people stand in line to get the latest phone. It's part of the marketing game, and it has somehow always worked in Apple's favor.
