iPhone 6 Plus review - bigger is better

5.0
Verdict: It's fair to say that the iPhone 6 Plus is something completely different from Apple, and something that the company wouldn't even have attempted a year ago. The real question comes donw to whether or not you think that the company has gone too far and the handset is too large.

Review: Apple iPhone 6

3.5
Verdict: For the first time, the big question for Apple fans isn't "are you getting a new iPhone?" It's which iPhone are you getting. A 6 or the ginormous 6 Plus? Yes, the 5 came in two flavors too, but let's be real-no one debated whether to get a 5c or a 5s at launch last year.
Pros: Fantastic 8-megapixel camera with improved low light performance, super fast shutter speed, and jaw-dropping 1080p video capture. Zippy overall performance.
Cons: One-handed usability isn't so easy, despite onscreen workarounds. Phone design is so slick it's almost slippery.

Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus review: in-depth analysis

4.5
Verdict: You may have just bought an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus and sought a review to confirm you made the right choice. You may be teetering on the edge of an order and need a persuasive nod in the form of a positive review.
Pros: iPhone 6 and 6 Plus: Beautiful design, excellent performance, iOS 8 increases flexibility, unmatched industrial design, best rear-facing cameras on the market iPhone 6 Plus only: Optical image stabilisation, large and Full HD screen makes a big difference
Cons: iPhone 6 and 6 Plus: Expensive iPhone 6 Plus only: Identical GPU means higher-resolution 3D games may run at lower frame rates than iPhone 6

Verdict: Apple gave you everything you ever longed for in an Apple iPhone with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. It was just inevitable that a larger display came to an iPhone. The Apple iPhone 6's whole experience just feels better because of that bigger display.

Apple iPhone 6 (Unlocked)

4.5
Verdict: Apple's iPhone 6 is one of our favorite high-end smartphones . While most iPhones are sold through carrier channels, it also makes an excellent unlocked phone -one good enough to call Editors' Choice . There are a few things you need to know to get the best unlocked iPhone experience, though.
Pros: Universal carrier compatibility in the United States. Best third-party apps of any mobile OS. Excellent low-light camera performance. Fast Wi-Fi
Cons: Phone calling performance is just okay

Superior in every respect to my much-loved 4S

5.0
Verdict: Bought out-right from Apple, my iPhone 6 is a really worth-while upgrade from my 4S. (I was dismayed that the 6S was released shortly afterwards, but now honestly don't feel it matters. Perhaps the latest 6S camera IS better, but it's not a deal-breaker yet.

Apple iPhone 6 review: One of the best smartphones available right now

4.0
Verdict: With the iPhone 6 , Apple has finally addressed the need for a larger screen on its smartphones. To many, this may look as if Apple is playing catch up with Android - it's difficult not to, considering the stark similarities in the latest iPhone and Android (*cough* *cough* Samsung) devices both in...

Review: Apple iPhone 6

4.2
Verdict: After years of mocking rivals for producing ever-bigger screens, Apple finally caved in this year, introducing not one such model, but two: the iPhone 6 with a 4.7in screen, and the iPhone 6 Plus with a 5.5in screen.

Verdict: Aside from the increased display size, we did not see anything else significant when upgrading from the iPhone 5S to the iPhone 6. The iPhone 5S is as smooth, flawless and beautiful as the iPhone 6.

iPhone 6 64GB

4.4
Verdict: Apple is probably the only electronics company that can upset the smartphone status quo with a single announcement. When the iPhone 6 became official, longtime fans hammered the company's servers and stores for the privilege of being one of its first owners.
Pros: It's extremely thin, pleasingly light and eminently comfortable, with a 4.7-inch screen that's gorgeous despite its relatively low resolution
Cons: Disappointingly, its battery life isn't much better than what was packed into the iPhone 5s, and lags behind other major competitors.

Review of the Apple iPhone 6

4.0
Verdict: With the iPhone 6, Apple has finally produced a decent-sized smartphone. If you own an iPhone 5 or even a 5s, the upgrade from a 4-inch to a 4.7-inch display alone makes the iPhone 6 worthy of consideration. But it's not just the display that will make iPhone fans happy.

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus review: bigger and better, but with stiffer competition

4.5

Apple iPhone 6

4.5
Verdict: For years, Apple held onto the smaller 4-inch screen size despite the growing popularity of 5-inch+ Android phones. The release of the iPhone 6 is Apple's white flag in the small screen department.
Pros: Improved processor performance, Good battery life, Excellent contrast and color reproduction, Fast auto-focus technology
Cons: Screen isn't full HD, Large bezels around screen

Review: Apple iPhone 6

4.0
Verdict: In the iPhone 5 review, I remember writing that, "As Android manufacturers continue to flood the market with absurdly large phones, it's good to see Apple Think Different." Not any more though, as Apple has changed. It's no more a company under Steve Job's leadership, that did things differently.
Pros: Great user experience; Premium metal body; Sleek design; Excellent sound output; very good camera; Long battery life; Excellent for gaming; Rich App Store
Cons: Lacks mass storage mode; Supports few video formats; Lacklustre maps; Lacks FM Radio; Reachability feature is stupid

iPhone 6 Review

Verdict: After years of letting Samsung, HTC and LG, to name a few adversaries, boast about having larger smartphone displays than it, Apple's finally fighting back with the iPhone 6. Apple iPhone 6 Smartphone Review

3.6
Verdict: The iPhone 6 is a really great smartphone . The new design is very convenient and the manufacturer uses high-quality materials. The build quality is on an excellent level and the performance is first-class as well.
Pros: Excellent build quality, Great performance, Decent camera, Very good voice quality, Great display, Decent battery runtimes, Good headphones, We like the build quality and the new design. But the display is convincing as well and finally bigger
Cons: NFC can only be used for Apple Pay, Micro stutters, Flash overexposes pictures, Storage cannot be expanded, No LTE Cat. 6, Power adaptor to weak, Issues with some car hands-free solutions, Apple's leadership in terms of innovations.

iPhone 6 64GB

Verdict: On the surface many will look at the new iPhone 6 and pick at it for being late to the large-screened party, for its lack of 4K video recording or waterproofing. iPhone 6 review

4.5
Verdict: There is explosive demand for bigger smartphones. A 4-inch smartphone feels small now; somewhere around 5 inches is the new normal. Yet too many large-screen phones are cumbersome, awkward, and often just plain bad.

Cons: No optimization for the larger screen, Unsightly lines on the back, Awkwardly protruding camera lens

Verdict: Apple's devices have always been about premium design combined with good performance. Not the iPhone 6 though. Apple seems to have stumbled in the effort to make its iPhone bigger.

Cons: Battery life needs a lot of work, Design may not please everybody, Very slippery body

Apple iPhone 6 Review

4.5
Verdict: Apple has finally relented to a market that demands bigger and bigger smartphones with its newest hero device, the iPhone 6. Pros: Elegant design, Exceptional display quality, Fast and reliable performance, Top-notch camera, TouchID button is more useful
Cons: Insufficient battery life, Lackluster front-facing camera, Too little storage on default model, no microSD support, Non-replaceable battery, Not dust- or water-resistant

Bigger and better: Apple's iPhone 6 reviewed

4.5
Verdict: Apple's change to its juggernaut smartphone is here, and it's not just a number change with a fingerprint sensor. This time, the iPhone includes a bigger screen, faster processor, and a new design.
Pros: A bigger iPhone, yay, Built beautifully, almost like the iPod Touch as a phone, Reachability (double-tap home) is a neat idea for larger phones, Fast 4G speeds, Finally, 802.11ac is here, Excellent rear camera, iOS 8 now lets you exchange and replace keyboards, With Mac OS X 10.10 "Yosemite," you...
Cons: Screen is larger, but not really a huge improvement, Fixed storage with no way of upgrading, Expensive, Slippery, Hand-hold for thumb at the bottom is a bit of a balancing act with a phone this size, NFC can't be used with pretty much anything, Quite a few iOS 8 bugs, Mediocre battery life

Apple iPhone 6 (16GB) review: Bigger, faster, better

No reviews
Verdict: Summary: The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and iOS 8 offer enough new functionality to entice existing iPhone owners to invest in an upgrade, and there's plenty to attract converts to the iPhone ecosystem too.
Pros: Elegant slimline chassis with 4.7-inch screen, Solid build quality, Performance boost over iPhone 5s, Fast autofocus on iSight camera, Good new features in iOS 8
Cons: Battery life may not be enough for power users, No optical image stabilisation on iSight camera, No NFC-enabled Apple Pay support outside the US

Cons: Lacks expandable storage, Lack of grip when holding, Pricey

iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus review: Bigger is in fact better (in the right hands)

4.5
Verdict: There are plenty of little tweaks in Apple's latest smartphone. But the biggest difference is that it's just plain bigger. The iPhone 6 Plus is certainly the largest iPhone Apple has ever released. But that may be too large for some users.
Pros: New design more comfortable to hold, Big screen, Improved camera, Giant screen, Long battery life, Extra interface elements in landscape orientation
Cons: Hard to hold in small hands, Difficult to use one-handed

iPhone 6 Review

Verdict: The New iPhone has nothing that can be called new, just some renovations and upgrades in the design, as for the performance, it's good, but there are other devices with much better performance at fewer prices. It cost starts at 700 Euros, which could be priced in Egypt around 6500 LE. Overpriced!
Pros: variable internal memory up to 128 GB, A8 chip with M8 motion processor
Cons: battery life up to 10 hrs on 3G, and is over priced compared to the features and specs

Apple iPhone 6: Looking good, slim. AW... your battery died

Verdict: Something many users have requested is for the operating system to be more customisable and extensible, which is what iOS 8 delivers to some degree. The benefits will take time to emerge, but already a choice of third-party keyboards can be installed, including the popular Swype .
