Apple iPhone 13 PRO (256GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

The iPhone 13 Pro is in many ways the Goldilocks of the iPhone range – just right. It has the very best of iPhone features in a body that is a bit more pocket-sized and hand-friendly without sacrificing any major features.

Stunning screen quality, Solid and sturdy build, Excellent camera array

Shorter battery life than Pro Max (but the latter is massive), Notch (iPhone 14 Pro goes 'Dynamic Island'), Comes at a premium price

Apple iPhone 13 Pro Review

Great to finally see a 120Hz display on an iPhone; Good battery life; Seriously impressive camera system;

Other phones have better zoom; The notch feels dated;

Apple iPhone 13 PRO (256GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

Hannah Stryker / Review Geek The iPhone 14 is the latest iteration of Apple’s flagship device. Since its launch, the iPhone has set the standard of what a smartphone is, what it does, and how it looks. Fifteen years later, it’s still doing that.

Top-notch cameras, Amazing display, Snappy performance, Great battery life

It's just "this year's iPhone"

Apple iPhone 13 PRO (256GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Apple iPhone 13 PRO (256GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

Apple iPhone 13 PRO (256GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

13 is the charm! The iPhone goes into the next round with a 120-Hz panel, a bigger battery and an improved camera system. In our review, the iPhone 13 Pro has earned not only superlatives but also a few points of criticism.

responsive system, outstanding 120-Hz OLED display, great battery life, good triple camera system, accurate geolocation, supports many LTE and 5G frequencies

heavy, no 5G-mmWave in Europe, slow Wi-Fi 6, limited NFC functionality, poor noise reduction in phone calls

iPhone 13 Pro review

The iPhone 13 Pro is the best of the 2021 Apple crop thanks to the 120Hz ProMotion display, enhanced camera, and two-day battery life - but bear in mind that the best Android rivals still win on charging speeds and low light camera performance.

120Hz ProMotion display; Fantastic camera; Excellent battery life;

Slow charging; No always-on display; Smaller notch doesn't improve things; Expensive;

Apple iPhone 13 Pro 256GB - Silver MLVF3X/A review

Last year’s iPhone 12 Pro didn’t offer enough to make it worth the extra money over the excellent iPhone 12 , but Apple has significantly beefed up the iPhone 13 Pro. The super-slick 120Hz screen significantly improves the experience of using the phone, bringing it up to par with top Android phones.

Pros: better cameras, 3x optical zoom, Face ID, longer battery life, great performance, brilliant 120Hz screen with smaller notch, durable and easy to hold, 5G, long software support.

Cons: no USB-C, need your own charger, heavy, expensive, not cutting edge.

Apple iPhone 13 Pro 256GB - Silver MLVF3X/A review

All things considered, is the iPhone 13 Pro worth it? On standalone terms, yes. Its cameras are definitely better than its predecessors, and so are its display, performance and battery life.
