I have the 1st generation iPad and found this one too bulky. I returned it and bought one from the Apple Store instead. The model from QVC must be a little older as my current 3rd generation iPad has the smaller charging port. The extras seemed cheap, would not recommend this configuration.
1) When I put ipad for charging it is not charging giving me error accessory not supported; now I don't know what to do? 2) Second issue is while working on ipad for constantly 10 min it suddenly shutoff all open application and come back to home screen
My wife wanted the iPad for Xmas. Personally I thought the Samsung Note was a better all rounder and £100 cheaper at the time, but had to admit that the iPad oozed quality. I bought her the iPad because its 'cool', looks good and has great write ups.
Full of ads and software that all farm your personal information, I downloaded a clock, it wanted permission to view and edit my contacts, can someone people tell me why a clock would need to see my contacts?
Bad Points: Wifi unreliable at best. I returned the unit in the end as I could not put up with it.

The iPad is a great tool if you only need the capabilities of an iPhone with a large screen. Sure, email and the browser excel here, but to make it perfect for everything else, it needs much better security and you'll have to purchase the extra dock and keyboard to make working on the move viable.
SOME ARE CALLING the Apple Ipad a potential replacement for the laptop , so we've put it to the test to see if it really lives up to expectations. At the Ipad's heart is an A4 chip which actually is fast.
Speedy A4 processor; eye popping screen
Cost; 3G option is even dearer; Lack of expansion capabilities; no peripheral ports; inability to load software other than what's approved by Apple
, you wouldn't be far wrong. It shares the same minimalist design and runs the same iPhone apps, now numbering over 200,000, plus more than 5000 new ones designed specifically to take advantage of the iPad's larger (9.7 Inch) screen.
Having spent some serious time with Apple's iPad since its release, it's easy to see how the device can stir up so much excitement and so much disappointment from all different angles with much less middle-ground. People tend to either love it or hate it.
