One might wonder if our market is low priority for Apple. In fact, we've reviewed the iPad before, but that wasn't much more than a hands on. Finally, the iPad is available in India, and has been for a couple of weeks. The reason given for ignoring India all this time is shortage of supply.

, you wouldn't be far wrong. It shares the same minimalist design and runs the same iPhone apps, now numbering over 200,000, plus more than 5000 new ones designed specifically to take advantage of the iPad's larger (9.7 Inch) screen.

Having spent some serious time with Apple's iPad since its release, it's easy to see how the device can stir up so much excitement and so much disappointment from all different angles with much less middle-ground. People tend to either love it or hate it.

I'm giving this 3 stars only because I couldn't upgrade the iOS and wasn't fully aware of the this when I got it or yhat the iOS offered limited options for the use of things like Facebook. The product itself was excellent quality and delivered in good time.

Due to programmed obsolescence, the 1st gen Ipad can only surf the web and correspond via email. Everything else was cutoff by Apple after introducing the Ipad 2. I bought it to gently introduce my dear old mother to the digital age. Web surfing and email is all she'll need.

SOME ARE CALLING the Apple Ipad a potential replacement for the laptop , so we've put it to the test to see if it really lives up to expectations. At the Ipad's heart is an A4 chip which actually is fast.

My wife wanted the iPad for Xmas. Personally I thought the Samsung Note was a better all rounder and £100 cheaper at the time, but had to admit that the iPad oozed quality. I bought her the iPad because its 'cool', looks good and has great write ups.
