I just got an iPad for my birthday and it is simply amazing. In my opinion, the speed is incredible and it just feels light. Even though it is portable and easy to carry, I would much rather get the iPad mini though.

My wife wanted the iPad for Xmas. Personally I thought the Samsung Note was a better all rounder and £100 cheaper at the time, but had to admit that the iPad oozed quality. I bought her the iPad because its 'cool', looks good and has great write ups.

Once the lid slides off the box, you are drawn to the seductive appearance of the iPad. It looks so sleek and desirable, and once it is in your hands - even before you power-up your new tablet for the first time - you realise that you have acquired a treasured possession!

I upgraded from an Andriod tablet to the iPad specifically for work purposes and have found many more uses in daily life for the because it is more versatile and has way better apps available then the android tablet I had previously.

For a while, I though I could get by having a new-line laptop and a smartphone. After seeing how useful tablets are for meetings, note-taking, and personal entertainment I realised it was time to take the plunge. After looking around the market, I narrowed this down to the MS surface and the iPad.
