Apple iPad (2017) (Review Apple iPad (2017))
The Apple iPad is more affordable than ever. If you're looking for a basic tablet with a wealth of apps, it's a solid deal.
Pros:
- Great value., Fast processor and Wi-Fi., Easy to use., Unrivaled app experience.
Cons:
- No strong reason for most earlier iPad owners to upgrade.

Apple iPad 5 review
Here’s an interesting fact for you: if you take the iPad mini out of the equation, Apple’s sales of larger iPads actually rose last quarter. The release of the iPad Pro 9.7 coupled with the enduring popularity of the iPad Air 2 meant that, far from being in decline, the iPad was on the up.

Apple iPad 5 review
Just recycling? Apple did not even hold a keynote for its latest tablet model. All we got was a press release. We think: That is enough for the Apple iPad (2017), because it is a very good tablet – and finally for a fair price.
Pros:
- bright display, accurate colors, precise touchscreen, excellent build quality, long battery runtime, high browser performance
Cons:
- outdated SoC, very glossy screen, old LTE standard, slightly increased black value, no support for Apple pencil

Apple iPad 5 review
It might look like more of the same – from 2013, no less – but this iPad gets the power-to-price ratio just right
Pros:
- Powerful and snappy in varied use cases, Slightly thicker body brings practical benefits, Price is ideal for newcomers and upgraders
Cons:
- Reflective and hollow-sounding display, Speakers still not up to much, Rear camera is merely OK

Apple iPad 5 review
Apple’s new 9.7-inch 2017 iPad doesn’t come with a lot of surprises except for one, the $329 price tag Apple gave the 32GB model. It now competes with other budget tablets including the company’s own iPad mini 4, their former low-price option.

Apple iPad 5 review
It isn't the iPad Air 3 we expected, but decent all-round performance means it’s the best sub-£500 tablet you can buy
Pros:
- Cheap (for an iPad), Great performance, Generous storage
Cons:
- Screen isn't as good as iPad Air 2
