Rock Solid Integrated Amplifier

What a wonderful integrated amplifier. It is very clear and musical, and unlike "home theater" receivers, optimized for 2-channel stereo sound. While it is only rated at 60 watts per channel, it has tremendous dynamic power to achieve deep, powerful bass hits.

Extremely musical, outstanding (1970s style) build quality, high quality internals; Not to mention, a good warranty and extremely musical sound

At this price point; for a new integrated amp; are you kidding

Brilliant piece of kit for the money

This amp does everything you could want from an entry level model to a standard beyond what you'd expect. On the face of it, this is comparable to products from the likes of Cambridge Audio, Pioneer etc. However, it has some great features which ensure it will stay with you as your setup evolves.

Solid amp, a bit bulky

This is a really good amp, I have it driving two JBL wall mount speakers and I get rich sound in all ranges. The different inputs are super convenient, including the USB power port available where I'm using a Chromecast audio.

Excellent receiver for the value

I have had three different receivers power my speakers. This receiver is by far the simplest, most powerful and by far the best sound. The sound is crystal clear. Amazing.

Does the job

This works as I wanted for my main living area 2.1 sound system. It gets loud enough to keep up with my Klipsch subwoofer, takes optical out from my TV, and has remote that I have programmed into my TiVo remote.

Banana Plug Outputs; Enough power; Optical Input; Subwoofer output

Yamaha A-S301 review

The A-S301's performance has many of the things we like best about Yamaha. We just wish it were more excited to meet us

Weighty presentation; Fine balance; Plenty of features

Lacks some enthusiasm
