I don't know how to say this but it is really average at best. The crafting system isn't as expansive as I hope and the multiplayer isn't really promising
Playing Toukiden: Kiwami, I found that I enjoyed it a lot more on my television than on my Vita. I think a lot of that has to do with how nice this game looks on the PS4. It's an attractive title that fills a Monster Hunter-esque niche quite well for console owners.
Suffering from a mild case of burnout, I told myself it was time to find shorter and less demanding games to play while I recovered. Doing so would also allow me to write more reviews, which was desirable since I've spent months barely covering anything at all. I was pleased with my new resolution.
At times this is really fun, but the other times, it can really drag and gets really same-y. There are quite a few bits to do in the town, but when you're off fighting monsters, a lot of the time you just kind of want it over asap.
All in all, Toukiden: Kiwami is an extremely fulfilling game to finish, and clocking in at least 80 hours for your playthrough is not at all skimpy. It's just that good too and really fun the whole way through.
