When it comes to the ‘Monster Hunter' genre, I can't say I've ever been too bothered to invest much time in them. I didn't have any particular reason why because in all honesty, it sounds like it should be right up my alley.

Many titles have come out in attempts to capitalize on the success of Capcom's popular Monster Hunter franchise of games. Originally released last year on the Playstation Vita, Toukiden: The Age of Demons was Tecmo Koei's admirable attempt at replicating Capcom's effective game formula.

Toukiden: Kiwami is the updated version of the Vita game Toukiden: Age of Demons , this time released on both the Vita and PlayStation 4 with a bunch of new content, along with cross play and cross save functionality, too.

Koei Tecmo has been on a tear the last couple of years releasing video games. Toukiden Kiwami is the most recent release to march its way into Family Friendly Gaming Nation. Players take on the role of a slayer. Their goal is to slay the massive demons that threaten the world.
