Thermaltake Chaser A31 Thunder Case

We first laid eyes on the new Thermaltake Chaser A31 Thunder back at CES and boy did it make a good first impression. Combining the front bay looks we have come to love in the Stacker cases with a head turning black and blue style that looks even better in person.

Beautiful color scheme; Lots of versatility; Support for tons of optional cooling; Exceptional build quality

Top fan cover not removable; Size limits optional fan sizing; ATX or smaller motherboards only

Great!

All in all, this is a very excellent and well built case, I do recommend it. Don't be scared to but it because there aren't 1,000 reviews!

-Very roomy; -Very sturdy; -Nice clear window; -Nicely designed front panel, easy to pop off and replace the default fan; -Since everything is enclosed (The top fans have a nice cover over them, but it doesn't restrict airflow) The case actually makes your system run quiet.

-their tool-les swapping of top drives system is weird and i just took them out; -only one small hole towards the top of the left side of the case for your CPU cable; This hole is small; I actually had to take out the mobo and feed the cord through then put the mobo back in.

Great Case

Its a great case and I highly recommend it

Looks Good -Lots of space for extra fans and great wire management -The glass on the side of the case is big enough to see everything inside -When i built my PC i found everything was very easy to install and fit perfectly

-I found the blue LED light on the power button to be to bright so I unplugged the power to it

Superb Case

i got this to replace my old case on my gaming PC. I couldn't be happier with the results. The grommetted holes make it a breeze to wire everything neatly, avoiding a coil of wires in the middle of the case that blocks airflow. I also love the tool less drive slots.

Pros

Bought this case with a new system. I really liked the design, though upon receipt was only mildly disappointed that the blue on the front of the HD bays was more cyan than "blue", which I was hoping for because I bought blue LEDs to go with it.

- if you like the design; it has great case design (go figure; - top gadget holder tray is convenient; - front access to USB 3.0 and headphone/microphone jacks is convenient; - bottom dust tray is effective; - good airflow possibilities with behind-the-wall cable-hiding system; - very convenient HD...

- front blue is more of a cyan than a "blue LED" blue; - not especially sound dampening; - not especially conducive to travel; if you're one of those guys who takes his computer around to LAN parties or something

Chaser A31

This is a mid-tower set up for gaming. I like the way the drive bays are set up, can fit a GTX 760 in here fine. No worrying about cables being messed up or possible crosstalk between data and power cables. Easy to put the drives in - no tools needed! Front ports and power button are easy access.

Thermaltake Chaser A31 Review

The new Thermaltake Chaser A31 enters the case market at a rather competitive price point, as £80 midi-tower chassis are fairly easy to come by. It can therefore be particularly easy even for competent cases to fail at standing out from the crowd, a problem that befell the last case from Thermaltake...
