The Elder Scrolls Online Review

To be explicitly clear, if you don't enjoy MMORPGs, you probably won't enjoy . Its strong character progression and combat systems better suit the offline Elder Scrolls games than in most MMOs, but it's very much a game about adventuring with other players.

Entertaining story; Unique crafting; Challenging dungeons

Major bugs; Repetitive Dark Anchors

The Elder Scrolls Online

The final concern is one that will not be answered until a much later date: Content. Yes Bethesda pulled out all the stops and got professional talent to voice the NPCs. It has a huge impact on the gameplay and I have to say I like it.

Great graphics and music; fully voiced NPCs; large world with lots of quests; interesting skill system lets you build and play your character how you want to; different play style than other MMOs; should be closely familiar gameplay/interface for Skyrim veterans; in game help/manual system actually...

Typical MMO launch bugs and lag (but both are getting better); different play style than other MMOs which may be off-putting for the usual MMO fan; Too much hand holding for quest completion

The Elder Scrolls Online Review - Familiar World, Strange Territory

As a fan of role-playing games and open-world sandboxes, I've long held a special place in my heart for the Elder Scrolls franchise. Since I was first introduced to the series with Morrowind back in 2002, I've spent countless hours exploring Bethesda's immense fantasy worlds in search of loot,...

Expansive; immersive world full of pleasing landscapes; Many intricate; involving quests; Complex but rewarding PvP

Multiplayer rarely feels like a crucial aspect of the game; PvP map is a bit too big for its own good

First and foremost, Morrowind is a captivating place to land and an interesting island to explore, rich with lore and content but hobbled by some dull writing and bland storytelling. Like the Elder Scrolls Online base game, Morrowind feels static, lacking imagination in its mechanics and design.

The Elder Scrolls Online

Some might say The Elder Scrolls Online was doomed from the beginning. That despite all its promise and close ties to the monumental critical and commercial success that was Skyrim, it was fatally flawed before it even released.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Review (PC)

Yeah, we know that the release of The Elder Scrolls Online was last month and perhaps for some this review may come a little late but we felt that a fledging MMO, even as ambitious as The Elder Scrolls Online, deserved a month or so to bed itself in before we gave our review.

(PC Review) The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online is a game all about expectations. If you're looking for Skyrim with co-op, you will be disappointed. If you're looking for a great PvP experience set in Tamriel, you will be disappointed.

The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online is the first attempt at taking the world of The Elder Scrolls to a massively multiplayer online format. The result is a good game but one that will make fans of the series wonder why they should pay the expensive $15 a month subscription fee to play a game from a series that...

The Elder Scrolls Online

The review's already gigantic and there's no way I'll mention everything I want to, so I'll keep things brief in the summary. If you're after a more single-player-quest-focused MMO with an Elder Scrolls feel, with a helpful community that will rush to aid you at every problem, and don't mind that a...
