Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

TMNT is one of those Live Arcade games that will likely send old fans all atwitter with nostalgic delight and cause new players to scratch their heads and wonder what all the fuss was about.

Online co-op play for up to four players that's legitimately fun; All the original music and voice effects are here; Solid achievements list; It's only $5

Two-button gameplay that feels a bit tired; Graphics could have used an update

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Review

The four-player co-op is pretty much what makes this update of the classic arcade Turtles beat-'em-up worth downloading, though the $5 price doesn't hurt either.

TMNT

For those avid TMNT fans around the world, this is a title that you probably want to bypass. The game has a rating of E10, but designed in a way that youthful gamers around the age of 6-8 could play. If you are looking to acquire a quick 1000 gamer score points, this is your game.

TMNT's pitiful difficulty and technical shortcomings overshadow some solid platforming action.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Review

To be fair, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles isn't a badly made game. Everything it sets out to do, it does. It's not bad because it's unplayable. It's bad because everything it sets out to do feels 15 years old, or frustrating and repetitive.

TMNT Xbox 360 Review

Apart from the faithful die hards, nobody has seen much of those martial-arts-practising oversized tortoises that were so big in the eighties, but as is the way of the world, if it was popular in the past it's worth bringing back for another bite of the cherry.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1989

TMNT, objectively, has a lot of flaws. It's short, simplistic, and repetitive. If you only want this for the single player game, this is a waste of money. However, the ability to go online and enjoy the team-based gameplay with some friends and perhaps even make some jokes at the expense of the...
