Tales of Berseria Review
Tales of Berseria is a surprisingly strong showing for this long-running series. Its tragic story of broken people fighting on the wrong side of history makes it utterly compelling, and its well-tuned combat more than makes up for its lack of interesting environments.

Tales of Berseria Review – Great for Fans, If You Can Get Past the Dated Visuals
I haven't always been a Tales fan. I got hooked with Tales of Symphonia on the Gamecube and decided to try the older Tales of Phantasia after that. I found those titles and the games in between to be great stories of personal growth for the main character; however, they seem to follow a fairly basic...
Pros:
- New type of protagonist
- Combat is satisfying
- Maintains all archetypes of the series
Cons:
- Majority of visuals are dated
- Save points feel archaic
- No reliable fast travel

Tales of Berseria Review – PS4
Tales of Berseria will tantalize any JRPG fan with a narrative unique to the franchise while still entirely Tales. There's room for improvement on all fronts, but that doesn't stop Berseria from being the best franchise title in a while.

The Tales series is truly something special to me and has been since playing my first ‘Tales of' title on the PSP, Tales of Eternia . The series has been around since the mid 90's and has since spawned 16 titles in its main line series as well as multiple spin-offs.
Pros:
- Battle system | Good character development | Superb soundtrack
Cons:
- Can't take screenshots (Come on Bandai Namco) | Linear in areas you would love to have explored more deeply
