The Archer VR600 is TP-Link's newest wireless gigabit modem router which is also NBN ready. Supporting ADSL 2+ or VDSL (FTTN) directly and fixed wireless, satellite or FTTx connections via the EWAN port, the Archer VR600 is capable of supporting the mix of technologies utilised by NBN and non-NBN...
Wifi Signal is strong on both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Very easy to set up also. Can slow a little if multiple devices are streaming. If you can justify twice the price, go for the MU-MIMO router, this should stop wifi lag.
Reliable wifi signal in all parts of the house
No increase in wifi speed over that given by the talk talk one provided i.e; about 20mb and not the 35mb I pay for and is available at the i/p socket; My reason for the purchase of the replacement was to achieve the higher speed openreach have measured as existing at the socket and also to overcome...
Upgrading from a TD-W9980 which is also a great unit. I wanted AC and faster speed/bandwidth on 5GHz. Great specs and very flexible firmware with lots of features. Especially handy for bandwidth management between IPs and IP ranges. Great speed on VDSL and great wireless range for an average house.
Can fix IP addresses

The TP-Link Archer VR600v is an AC1600-class DSL modem router from the Shenzhen-based manufacturer, especially created to cater to the needs of those budget-conscious people that require a decent wireless performance (nothing over the top though) along with an easy-to-use, intuitive user interface...
Purchased to replace a BT HH3 that frequently lost an Internet connection and so far, after 2 weeks use, the product has worked well with no drop-outs. Only complaint is the 5GHz channel has less range than the 2.4GHz channel, although in my set up this is not a limiting factor.
Easy to set up, great quality speeds, aesthetically modern and a really easy transaction :)
Setting up was a chore but once it was set up worked fine for a few days then the troubles started. Xbox one x and Samsung smart TV constantly get disconnected for a few seconds at a time and struggle to connect when first turned on (ethernet). Wireless works, not ideal when you want to game.
