This is the one
Hands down the best router I've ever owned. I am tech savvy, I've had many routers. This one requires no special skills to setup. My grandma could do it (with me on the phone guiding her). I literally had this from opening the box to configured (dual wifi setup, password protected) in 5 minutes.

Ordered this from Bt Shop, it arrived within the 4 days as promise, the box had a dent in it, but luckily the router was undamaged. I upgraded from a Netgear DGN3700v1 because the QOS was useless, the Tp-Link Archer C7 AC 1750router is really great because you can control the download speeds as well...

I'm really happy with this router
I'm really happy with this router. Tons of features like bandwidth control really eliminates one person streaming movies from hogging all the bandwidth. I've had no issues with ping and having the wifi reach upstairs. Note: this router has 2 wifi settings, 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz.

TP-Link recently released the Archer T8E, an AC1750 based PCI Express dual band wireless adapter, to complement its family of AC1750/AC1900 products. The T8E boasts the next generation WiFi standard (802.11ac) which is capable of delivering up to 1300Mbps when paired with another 802.11ac device...

Archer Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router
At first I was hesitant to review the TP-LINK Archer C8 AC1750 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router when chosen to do so due to my limited tech savvy. Surprisingly, I found the setup and connection to be both quick and painless, as easy directions were included with simple step by step instructions.

TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Router Review
When looking for a new router, it is recommended that you keep an eye for the latest technology, mainly the 802.11ac, but bear in mind that the AC routers tend to be more expensive than the N variants.

Excellent Product
I gave this a couple of months of operation before making a review. I have had no trouble with this device that required any customer service. That should actually be another pro. I have been very happy and for the price having a true dual radio router has been well received in my house.
Pros:
- Easy setup
- stable
- recovers well from power outages
- good coverage on 2.4 gig channels
Cons:
- Low signal in 5 gig range through walls and greater than 50 feet away
- I sometimes have to switch to 2.4 gig radio to get connected

Easy to setup, disappointing performance
We've been using an Asus RT-N66U for a couple of years with no complaints -- terrific coverage and max speeds from our Verizon Fios Internet service. Yet, all of the recent media hype over AC1750 caught my attention, and I decided to give the Archer C8 a try.
Pros:
- Easy To Set Up
Cons:
- Poor Signal Strength
- Slow Connection Speed
