Working well!
Got this as a replacement for NAS device that was showing its age and not big enough. I have put a pair of 4TB WD Red drives in it and it is working well. It was very easy to set up and on my 1GB LAN I get good transfer speeds. The software is good as well.

DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR DATA TO THIS!
DO NOT ENTRUST YOUR DATA TO THIS! Even with FULL redundancy (RAID !) I lost 1.2 TERABYTES of data because of the terrible system software of the Synology nebbishes, I would advise anyone with these systems to NEVER UPGRADE because at least the release shipped with the hardware has presumably been...
