Not bad, not great
This phone gives you a functioning Android phone for a pretty good price. It's got a nice bright screen, and Android 4.1.2 runs the apps I'm interested in. So far so good. It's got a pretty good form factor -- fairly thin with a medium-sized (4") screen. Not too huge, not too small.
Pros:
- runs Jelly Bean nice bright screen
Cons:
- insufficient memory terrible camera

Sony XPERIA J: not a great product
I have had the Sony xperia since March this year and would not recommend it to anybody really. Although the phone itself looks nice, has a decent sized screen and a good camera it does not make up for the fact i have had to send it off for repair twice since march.
Pros:
- good camera
Cons:
- temperamental
- easy to break
- not reliable

Apart from the display and the built nothing really stands out for you to buy this phone. The cheaper and more powerful alternatives are more attractive but Sony being Sony really draws you out to buy this phone. For a good gaming experience please avoid this phone.

terrible
this phone was slow and really unresponsive, and texting on it took forever. the battery % would be lost sometimes without turning it on, and after taking 20 photos said i couldn't take any more because there was no storage left.

Sony Xperia J
The Xperia J has a five-megapixel snapper that produces fine images for social networking and other everyday images, and has some nice additions such as panorama mode. There's not much else in the way of features though.
Pros:
- Curvy, sleek chassis
- good, colourful screen
- 24 hours battery life
Cons:
- Lack of power
- display could be brighter
- Timescape is still disappointing

Sony Xperia J review: no small wonder
Sony's Xperia J is getting on a bit, but it's still a part of the new Xperia family, some of which I really like. The Xperia J isn't a good phone though, and it's pretty costly for what it offers.
