I found the product to be good. Before the purchase I had a doubt whether the sound quality will be good and loud or not. But its more than enough even in my huge living room room as well. Worth the price.

the sound quality i thought was great but id did not get reception 2 rooms away which was only about 15 feet. I returned it with no problem.

This is an update to my review of 3/27/2015. I had issues connecting a wired source, and the unit would shut off without rhyme or reason. I solved these by just increasing the volume of my source, and now these are reliable and easy to use. I bought two based on reviews on other sites.

Now that I've had this for a few days, I have worked out the issues I had; The unit can be operated by internal battery, so there is an auto-shutoff if no sound is present

1; The unit came without any instructions; Visit the Sony eSupport site and under "manuals" look at the Help file; 2; The unit will auto-shutoff if the source material is played at low volume

Sony SRSX2 bluetooth speakers are easily paired with other bluetooth devices and are louder than expected. Perfect for listening to music from your tablet or smartphone..

Good speaker with loud volume. The speaker is really very very loud for it's size. The treble seems to be little on the higher side. Otherwise the sound is pretty decent for the size. Very portable and easy to pair with devices. Build quality is typical Sony, which is really good.

My son uses the speaker for everything all the time. He takes it everywhere he goes always listening to music, sometimes radio station, hearing the yankees game and sometimes even on calls. The speaker has great quality audio I even use it myself from time to time

Good speaker sounds good. Might find some unexpected features when you open this product. Can be paired with other speakers and has Bluetooth pairing. Let's just say if you like higher quality speakers you'll probably like this 1 too.

I bought this speaker because I saw the good reviews... I did not know it would be this good. I was in year 9 when I got this and I took it on my school bus and everyone can hear it no problem. My friend has the Beats pill, the Sony wiped it with no problem.
