This radio is the best in its size category! I promise you will just love it. its size is pretty good and has a nice long stripe to hold while walking around. It also has a great sensitivity either on AM/FM, and a crystal clear sound quality. The tuning experience is smooth too.

This is sold as a portable radio and would be used the most outside and not inside the home. Accordingly, the earphones have to work but they do not ! When they are worn the volume drops to near impossible to listen to any radio channel.A very bad fault.

Doesn't tune in easily and once tuned it doesn't stay in tune so all you get is hissing. The sound isn't good but it's to be expected as it's only small. Do not buy unless you like disappointment.

I just purchased this portable radio a couple of weeks ago in store at b&h, and it has met all expectations so far. I use it to listen to the Yanks on WFAN660AM every time there is a ball game, and have never had a problem with the reception and clarity of the broadcast.

I purchased this radio as a gift for someone else. I was told that the radio works very well, pleasant tone and strong reception. The quality is comparable to the previous version, ICF-S10MK2. I intend to buy another one for myself.

Simple to use. Wanted radio with AM. This has exactly what I wanted.

Pros: Another great product backed by Sony quality standards! Crystal clear sound and long battery life. Cons: A little bigger than what pocket radios are usually like. On/off switch is a little confusing for old people Ergonomics are not a top notch/sharp corners

This radio has great sound and I love the fact that it uses the AA batteries and not the expensive triple A batteries that never seem to last long. The price was fantastic and I would highly recommend the radio.
