Love that this lens exists, though I have some minor gripes

Great for sony's full sensor cameras, though awkward for hand-held shooting cause of it's weight. Lacking on the wide end of the zoom if using it on a smaller sensor cam. It's great to have a full-range cine lens with a focus ring that can be fully manual or AF (by sliding the ring forward or back)...

Owned Two, Both Died & Mediocre Performance

This is my second and final copy of this lens. Both died during shoots. The lens died after shooting and when the camera was powered down. This happened in completely different conditions and length of ownership. Completely unacceptable. As for its actual performance...

GREAT LENS - SHAME ABOUT THE ZOOM PIN

This is a great lens, theres no two ways about it. Everything perfect. But the zoom pin snapped as i was screwing it onto the ring - shame!! Otherwise, just great!

Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS

Given Sony's relatively restricted range of full-frame E-mount lenses, the FE PZ 28-135mm F4 G OSS appears to be a welcome addition if you're after a high quality zoom lens with a versatile focal range and a relatively large, constant aperture. And the specs do translate to excellent image quality.

It makes everything cinematic

I still can't believe this lens is less than 3,000!

I use this with my FS 700R before this lens I used all cano f2.8 lenses and was very happy with their preformance. So far I haven't taken this lens of camera since it arrived. Love it! It's totaly manual or full auto Great product great results. Only thing I'd change is to F2.8 or better!
