Sony's pricey FE 135mm F1.8 GM lens incorporates the latest optical and focusing technologies to deliver sharp, crisp images. The Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM ($2,099.99) is another entry in the company's top-end line of lenses, the G Master series. As with other G Master lenses, the 135mm F1.8 is built to professional specifications, with exotic lens elements, weather-sealed construction, and exceptional resolution. Its focal length makes it a bit of a specialized tool for portraiture, but it also gets quite close for macro shots, and focuses quickly enough to keep up with fast action. The Sony FE 14mm F1.8 GM lens captures ultra-wide photos with a bright aperture to defocus backgrounds. It's smaller than a zoom, a plus for use on drones and gimbals. Sony FE 14mm f/1.8 GM

The Sony 14mm f/1.8 GM is one of the best wide-angle lenses on the market today, especially for Milky Way photography. It’s small, light, sharp, and a fantastic performer overall. The biggest highlight is the complete lack of coma even at f/1.8.

Allready at 1.8 high contrast and sharpness. The Nikon- and Canon-likes reach this level at f: 4 or 5.6. You don't need to stop down for a lot of higher contrast and sharpness. Ideal for setting subjects and objects free in cities and landscapes and to use depth of field in a creative way.

This lens just arrived so I popped it onto my Sony A99II and snapped some sample pics which I'll upload as part of this review. First impressions: stunning images, somewhat heavy lens (which I do not mind as weight often comes with qualit) with overall gorgeous lens aesthetics.

¡¡¡Awesome Lens!!!

Awesome lens!!! It does take a little getting used to in that you have to stand a little further back from you subject to obtain the same composure as an 85 mm or 50 mm lens. The clarity is outstanding and this is sure to be my new favorite lens.
