I haven't had this camera long and am still learning about it, but it has a wide array of functions and features in such a small package. I got it primarily for its size and large sensor with zoom - while the zoom is not huge, it does enable me to get reasonable photos of wildlife.

One of the best small cameras I have ever used, just got back from a trip to Greece and Italy, took well over 1,000 photos and was very pleased with the focus speed and image quality.

I bought this camera wanting and upgrade to the version I already owned. It was heavy and clunky, not as light weight as other versions. Not much difference in features bar more megapixels. Filming was easy and photos taken when filming were often better quality, especially when seeing a show.

Sony has been able to produce at least one of these cameras each year since 2012 and its very exciting to see that they've come a long way in terms of the new features on each generation.

I needed VI exactly cause of the superzoom and touchscreen. I made a good travel set of A7III + TAMRON 28-75 + RX100VI. Good additions Ia€?ve got are 24mm with 180 degrees flip screen, 100-200mm and 24-200mm 4k video with just 300-400 additional gr. Regarding IQ.

I didn't like paying nearly $1200. but have to admit I am totally impressed with this camera in one day of use so far. Test shots seem really sharp across the field at all focal lengths (yes even 200mm). In-camera JPEGs look pretty good, RAW of course a little better after processing.

I'm totally satisfied with this camera I figured it would be the best option to start small and work my way up to something big but the way I look at it this small thing is able to keep up with the big boys totally satisfying it and glad that I bought this but don't tell the wife how much it cost...
