If you already own the RX100 IV, there’s no real need to buy the RX100 V – it’s just too similar. However, it’s also an improvement, if a slight one, over that already superb compact camera, which makes it one of the best point-and-shoots on the market, boasting a flexibility that few pocket cameras can muster. You do pay a hefty sum for that versatility and all-round performance, which is the only real criticism I can find about the RX100 V. Excellent camera! The package came in time

Excellent camera! The package came in time, and with all additional stuff as was advertised. Good thing 2 extra batteries added to the package, very usefull. No complains about camera so far.

So, I just got my RX100V, which is intented to be the "keep it in my bag" camera. I am upgrading from the first version of the RX100 and I have a Panny FZ1000. I guess I became the 1-inch sensor kind-of guy.

High Quality Camera

Very pleased with first results from the camera - it is small (heavy compared with other cameras at this size) and very expensive, but brings together a large sensor with a proper viewfinder and a built-in flash. Very expensive, but a quality product.
