Unbeatable price!!!! Not even Wal-Mart!!

I like everything!!! The price, that I can use the apps like crackle, youtube, playstation (with wifi, and ps3 only), also is screen mirroring compatible with my microsoft phone (apple and android needs an app if it still exist).... if that fails, just use the network or usb port as last resource.

Really compact, and great price

This player is tiny, literally about 19inches long and 7 inches wide. It is packed with features, and the picture quality is outstanding. It is really easy to set up too, and connects to the internet quickly.

but once you have Netflix or another app open it works very good.

Works well. A little slow when first uploading the programs when you turn it on, but once you have Netflix or another app open it works very good.

Lack of outputs .

Picture quality is very good, loading time fast but no optical out only coaxial. No front display only an on or off light. Very small and compact but feels cheap.

nice compact unit, rather tiny infact

With loads of features this unit plays almost every file format via the USB port.Has hot keys for almost every imaginable streaming service and the Upscaling works well.

SONY BDP-S6500 Blu Ray DVD.

Replaced a Phillips Unit that Dropped off all the Time, Buffered and such. This one is better, However, It will once in a while just STOP Playing and I have to Restart from Ground "0".

Small; easy to use; Price

Slow to Load Video, Netflix Etc; Has Buffering Issues occasionally, and Shuts down and has to be rebooted sometimes; If it goes out, I won't but the same thing again

Sony BDP-S6500 Review

In a field like Blu-ray players, versatility is crucial, since single-task devices with basic functionality quickly become obsolete. Here, the Sony BDP-S6500 shows its strengths. Few players come bundled with upscale options like 4K and 3D conversion.

The Sony has premium 4K and 3D playback features

The remote suffers from light design clutter

Great all rounder

I've had one of these in the past, which is why I purchased this more up to date version. the features are great the Netflix button is handy too. the simulated 3D is a great feature for non 3D movies as it adds a bit more depth to the image which makes the overall viewing more enjoyable especially...
