Sony Alpha A6300
This camera is considered one of Sony’s mid-range models—with the Sony A6000 as its lower counterpart, and the Sony A7 II as it’s higher level counterpart. The specs on this camera aim to impress even the fussiest of photographers. It’s a great looking camera too and is easy to handle & operate. Let’s look at some of the other features.
The battery on this camera is also a feature worth mentioning due to its staying power during your shoots. Your camera battery should be able to last approximately 400 photos in, before the battery needs recharging.
The Sony Alpha A6300 has a 24MP sensor with a shooting rate of 11 frames per second. There’s a built-in flash which has an incredible sync speed of 1/160 seconds. The AF system on the camera is hybrid, and boasts an impressive 425 PDAF points. Among other features, one more is worth mentioning; the OLED 2.36M-dot with a 120fps refresh option which will lend a hand to the quality of your photographs.
In addition to these photography features, the Sony Alpha A6300 also has some convenient video recording abilities. 4K is the hero here, with resolution settings of 3840 x 2160 (30p) and 1920 x 1080 (120p/60p). Although the camera is primarily designed for regular photography, you’ll enjoy the quality of these videos as well.
A newer model Sony Alpha A6400 was released in January 2019.

Sony Alpha A6300 Mirrorless Camera First Look Review (Full Resolution Test Images)
Judging by its understated model designation it would be easy to conclude that the Sony Alpha A6300 mirrorless camera is simply an upgraded Alpha A6000 with 4K video capture added to its already impressive feature set.
You can assign any of 65 functions to any of 10 customizable buttons as you like. This makes operation more intuitive, quick and easy, and is extra-convenient for accessing such functions as starting and stopping of movie recording and switching between viewfinder and monitor.

Great point and click and more advance as well
The camera is clearly a great quality camera for the money. But it's not the easiest to use. Especially coming over from your standard DSLR (canon or Nikon). I don't care for the dial by the screen. But it gives you some great quality shots. Just not as easy to adjust on the fly.
Sony Alpha A6300 Mirrorless Camera Body Only - 24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS Sensor, 3.0" 921.6k-Dot Tilting LCD , Built-in WiFi with NFC Support , UHD 4K30 & 1080p120 Recording
Very capable camera, weather sealing and a magnesiaum alloy body don't add too much of a weight penalty compared to its little brother A6000. It also has a full metal lens mount if you are planning to use heavier lenses.
Technically advanced, but the Sony a6300’s controls aren’t in line with the high price
Sony A6300 review
Sony may have spent the last few years reshaping the full-frame market with a string of popular compact system cameras, but it's also managed to simultaneously keep its APS-C alternatives relevant and exciting.
Sony Alpha A6300 review
Sony's A6300 is a mid-range mirrorless with an AF system that's the envy of pro cameras costing up to twice the price. It takes the earlier A6000 – no slouch for action photography – and upgrades the weather-sealing and viewfinder, adds 4k video, 1080 at 120p for slow motion and a microphone input,...- Best continuous AF in its class, Fast 11fps burst shooting or 8fps with live update, Internal 4k video
- 1080 at up to 120fps for 5x slo-mo, Compact and light, weather-sealed body, Wifi with NFC and downloadable apps
- Screen not touch-sensitive nor fully-articulated
- Control dials have minimal tactile feedback
- Screen can't be brightened when filming 4k
- Maximum shutter speed of 1/4000
- Smart Remote app needs updating immediately
- Downloaded apps often have separate menus
- Reports of rolling shutter
- but not on...
Sony Alpha a6300
The Sony Alpha a6300 sits at the top of the Sony APS-C camera lineup. It costs £1,000 body-only at release, sitting below the full-frame Sony A7 II . Some will be unable to give up on the idea of owning a full-frame compact system camera, and we don't blame you.- Solid burst performance
- Fast AF in most situations
- Good higher-ISO performance
- Great image quality
- No in-body OIS
- 'Entry level' manual controls
