Fantastic landscape lens
Sharp, light and bright. Excellent lens.

Nice, Compact, and Sharp
This is a great lens to travel lightly with and always stays in my to go bag when heading out the door. Very sharp when stopped down a stop or two and focus speed is a non-issue. The only down side is it lacks the distance information for Sony's flash system.

Outstanding Wide Angle Prime
This is a truly superb prime wide-angle lens, works flawlessly on a900 - full-frame wide lenses are hard to come by, but I would strongly suggest getting this. Super-sharp from f4 onwards, still delightful and fast at 2.8; great colours and depth.

Very light, fast , good focus lens
This is a light weight, compact lens. If you are looking for wide angle, fast lens this is the lens for you. Photos come very sharp in low light condition using F/2.8. It is easy to carry around, good to take landscape photos as well as architecture.

Great Product
This is the third Sony lens in my collection and i have to say it is an amazing pic of glass and has now become the lens that i use for almost everything.

I would definitely recommand this lens
The Sony 20 mm F/2.8 makes a very good and relatively low cost super-wide angle lens. For most people, it's wide enough and fast enough. I would definitely recommend this lens.

Sony 20mm f/2.8 SAL-20F28
tested the lens on Sony NEX 6. It may not be as sharp as other lenses but has better zooms than othe company lenses. Th colour rendition is pretty good and can easily be the best quality in this lens. senior mobile home parks texas

sony 20mm f/2.8 Lens Review
Sony's 20mm f/2.8 lens has been around for some time. Curiously, Sony's website says that the lens has a focus-lock and a focus-limiter but in fact neither of these features is provided (nor necessary) on this lens.

Excellent lens for low light photography.
I bought this lens used for a trip to France; I anticipated being in very old buildings with low light and no flash permitted. All of that turned out to be true and the lens performed very well. Notre Dame, for instance was dark with a great amount of detailed stone work, art work etc.
