Our friends over at Sega provided a reviewable copy of Sonic Free Riders, which is awesome. The downside is we were working with Microsoft trying to find out where our Kinect Sensor unit was. Suffice to say I scraped together the funds to purchase a Kinect Sensor so we could play Sonic Free Riders.

This would have received more stars from me if the game weren't so buggy and hard to play on the kinect. The concept is really neat, and would be so much fun if the controls weren't so bad. It's almost unplayable at times since the kinect won't pick up on what you're doing.

Purchased videogame for son. Great transaction, came as expected.

I have to admit, I was one of the biggest Kinect sceptics around prior to its launch. I questioned whether the slick machine with the black piano finish would be a fad. I also questioned whether Xbox 360 gamers would embrace it.

Take full control of Sonic and his friends in this Kinect racing game. Hopefully your body and the Kinect camera is up for the task!

. After a quick tutorial you soon start to discover that the game might not be as fun as it sounds, as even during these brief glimpses of the game you will find the controls are terribly inconsistent. You stand facing the TV at a ninety degree angle and lean forward or backward to turn.

bought this for my kids and they played it for the first couple of weeks non stop. Now it just and sits gathering dust and other games are played instead off this.
