Singularity by Raven Software was first shown at E3 2009, after which it did not appear again in any playable form until is released last week. This disappearance normally give an indication that game might not have live up to the expectation.

A very fun game, had a feel like Bioshock but not as dark & easier to figure things out, a resonable length game, not to hard with some fun weapons to use
I cant understand why this didnt sell more.........it's a great little game but as it didnt sell as expected (probably down to the publishers) the online element is lacking. All in all.....I really enjoyed this and there are some good nods to other sci fi films and series'. Give it a chance...
brillant, rips off every shooter to bits but it does it bloody well :)
Singularity is a unique action/shooter game developed by Raven Software, the bright minds from last year's Wolfenstein . It's quite clear that the team learned plenty in developing Wolfenstein and perfected those techniques for Singularity .
First time I have heard of Singularity I expected low budget, cheap and not really exciting run-of-the-mill shooter with no essence whatsoever. One of my friends picked it up just to play through and recommended it saying it would surprise me. And it did surprise me.
Aliens and Predators, the movie world's favourite extra-terrestrial killing machines are gracing the videogame world again in the the 25th major game to feature the creatures (and the 10th to see them pitted against each other!
If you liked Bioshock or Dead Space, this solid entry will likely appeal. It's a plotline we've all seen before -- the Space Marine equivalent who needs to shoot his way through everything in his path -- but the play is well done and the plotline has just enough twists to keep it interesting.
I bought this game during the summer (which usually has little in terms of big titles available). I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this game. The game is a good mish mash of lots of different games that puts you in control of a soldier who is investigating a former USSR test facility,...
Bioshock might have set the mold of adding psionic powers to the first person shooter, but both games in that series left me disappointed with the bad endings. Even so, it spawned other shooters out that take the concept of adding special abilities to your guns and runs with it.
