Gives me so much nostalgia from back when I played Super Mario on the SNES.

This is an amazing game, but to describe it best would be to call it a megaman clone!

I have had shovel knight for a while, and I think it belongs in my top 5 all time favorite games. I love everything about this game and cant wait for the next installment. Also, the 3D adds a nice depth to the classic side scroller look.

Classic 8bit gaming in the modern age. The game has all of those retro elements you remember. Pixelated graphics, chiptune sounds, and some generally difficult platforming sections.
