Crisp, clean wireless headphones

Was looking for some wireless headphones for some late night movie watching ( got tired of reading subtitles with the volume low ) and came across these. Debated between the RS170 and the RS180, but decided on the 180 after finding a decent deal on them.

I bought these headphones just before starting redecorating my house. I have used the headphones while painting my house and it was a great experience. The digital connection between transmitter and phones was never lost, not even when they were separated by two floors of armoured concrete.

Very comfortable; affordable; great for movies

Somewhat analytical for classical music; influences wifi connectivity of laptops etc.; buttons on the phones tiny

New RS180 Sennheiser Wireless Headphones The Best Ever

Having already owned a pair of Sennheiser wireless headphones in the past, I already knew what level of quality they were able to deliver however the new R 180 delivers a whole new experience. The wireless base station which is a key part of the offering has been significantly improved.

The system delivers crystal clear audio, which one expects when buying a Sennheiser product; There is no hissing or static when I put a Blu-ray movie and CD on hold and no other interference when channels were changed.

The only downside is that the volume and balance controls are now buttons and are not as easy to find or adjust as a knob which was found on previous models; The on/off button needs to be relocated on the headphones.

Very good sound reproduction

Sound quality is very good, but I haven't worn headsets for years, so nothing to really compare them to. I listen to music several hours a day, I listen for certain instruments and sounds. The Sennheiser 180 s miss very little compared to my speakers..

Easy set up; mobility is great; good sound; and packed by Crutchfield

The ear pads are hot to my ears, I am a hot natured person; I've solved the problem with cloth pad covers; The markings on the headset could be raised a little more making it easier to identify the controls by touch.; that would be it...

Sennheiser RS 180 wireless headphones

Sennheiser has a reputation for making some of the best-sounding wireless headphones on the market, and the $329.95 RS 180 demonstrates that it has learned its lessons well. Though they're fairly expensive, the headphones sound great and are remarkably comfortable to wear.

The; is a full-size; lightweight set of wireless headphones with Kleer technology that's comfortable to wear for hours at a time

The awkwardly placed controls on the right earcup might take a while to master; and its ambitious price tag coupled with an analog-only input may put off some buyers

Sennheiser RS 180 review: Sennheiser RS 180

Sennheiser has a reputation for making some of the best-sounding wireless headphones on the market, and the $329.95 RS 180 demonstrates that it has learned its lessons well. Though they're fairly expensive, the headphones sound great and are remarkably comfortable to wear. Some may balk at the price, but the RS 180's sonic fidelity nearly matches Sennheiser's top-of-the-line wireless headphone at half the price, so they pose an excellent value to home users shopping for a wireless headphone on a flexible budget.

The Sennheiser RS 180's sound is competitive with similarly priced wired headphones, which should make the RS 180 irresistible to audiophiles seeking to cut the cord.

The Sennheiser RS 180 is a full-size; lightweight set of wireless headphones with Kleer technology that's comfortable to wear for hours at a time.

Review: Sennheiser RS 180 Wireless Headphones

Wireless headphones used to be perfect for head-bangers: The constant static and dropouts made you want to bang your head against the wall. But it's a different ballgame now, and cruising around the house sans wires doesn't have to cause any audio-induced migraines.

Superb sound quality; AAA rechargeable batteries keep you bumpin' for 15 hours; Well-cushioned ear pads have a more delicate touch than a safe cracker

Power/volume buttons require a deft touch; No digital inputs; 0 and no noise canceling
