This is my honest review of almost a year's usage. So I bought this set around November of 2016. Great sound, loved the feel. The cord had a very nice extra length to it. Sadly within the first 3 months of usage, which has been average, non-abusive usage, the earbuds began to regularly fall off of...
We found the Sennheiser Momentum headphone to be a surprising step away from the classic, level Sennheiser sound, if sadly toward the muted and tuneless thump of fashion 'phones popularised by Beats.
My first go at Sennheiser Momentum headphones has gone without a single hitch. The Momentum offer an attractive alternative to either the Beats audio range or pretty much anything else on the market at the moment.
I had recently lost my Sennheiser CX 3.00 in-ear headphones and went to replace them, I was informed of this new series that had “replaced” the CX 3.00 with superior sound quality. After a month of using these, and much discomfort, I found my old headphones which had been washed and found in one of my sweatshirt pockets. I then did a comprehensive comparison between the two pairs, and can certainly say that the comfort is much better on my old pair, but the sound quality is practically impossible to tell the difference in my view. Given their significant difference in price, I'd recommend avoiding this pair. If they were of similar comfort and from the buyer's point of view there are noticeable sound differences, then I would recommend you consider this pair.
Best sounding headphones I have had in my life, but the design is faulty and the cord snapped :( Be extra careful and gentle with them so they last long
Hey all! Today, I'm taking yet another step into my favourite headphone manufacturers catalog, Sennheiser! This time, I went to a slightly higher margin from my usual's and took a mid-high range set for a go, the Sennheiser Momentum in-ears.
Clearly defined sound stage over all frequencies; well rounded bass without overtaking the rest of the track
Mids rounded back; highs are a little too forward
You get what you pay for: The $499 Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones are nearly perfect. The design is timeless, albeit a tad understated, and the rich audio with the spacious soundstage is trademark Sennheiser. I also appreciated the quick wireless setup and the intuitive controls.
Rich; crystal-clear audio; Attractive; sturdy design with premium materials; Good active noise cancelling; Easy-to-use wireless controls
Expensive
While it may be a bit overpriced, the Momentum 2.0 Wireless is an excellent and well-designed Bluetooth headphone with active noise-cancellation that also offers strong wired performance.
As I mentioned earlier in this review, I have tried out and owned a lot of different headphones and earphones over the years. I'm not a full-on audiophile, but I do love good, clean sound. I'd much rather have accurate and well-balanced sound than brain shaking bass. Not that bass is a bad thing.
Package and case are stellar; Super comfortable; Two cables - one for Apple products; one for everything else; Fantastic clarity and overall well-balanced sound; Black leather & red stitching; Stainless steel; Appear and feel quite durable
A bit expensive
