Sennheiser's new headphones are more than just good-looking, they're downright sexy. Maybe it's all the brown leather, but the Momentums seem to be steeped in that same, oddly masculine brand of cool that hovers like a halo over the best gear from 30 or 40 years ago.

Fantastic sound with superior isolation; So compact, so comfortable; High price is actually reflected in the build quality - a rarity among style-minded consumer headphones; It wouldn't surprise me to see a photo of Steve McQueen wearing these, along with a Tag Heuer Monaco, a cashmere turtleneck...

Headphones, headphones, headphones. There are so many of them, and they all sound totally different. If you're planning on buying headphones, then this must surely be the worst bit - deciding which set to get.

Sound lovely; good balanced mid-range; powerful bass; never too much treble; comfortable

Expensive; won't suit audiophiles

There's no extra zero added to the price above. Yes, it is all of a quarter of a lakh Rupees. High-quality sounds come at a premium price. That might as well be true with the Sennheiser MOMENTUM headphone, which is a luxury product made using expensive materials.

The Sennheiser Momentum are some of the best headphones money can buy if you need a set to take out on the streets. They're comfortable, look a good deal swisher than Sennheiser's other sets and offer sound comparable to that of its best portable cans.

Significant outlay for a portable pair

No two headphones ever sound the same, no matter if they are from the same family. This is a bit of a snowflakes scenario, and does create a bit of an issue for us reviewers – which set to recommend to which user.

Paying Rs 25,000 seems a bit obscene for a headphone, but if you are an audio nut then an amount four times more will also be ‘okay' if it is good enough for the ‘Sound of Music.' Sennheiser, of course, is a well-known German audio brand and like most things German, nothing less than perfection will...

Great sound quality!

The Sennheiser Momentum headphones are beautifully made as well as being incredibly light and comfortable to wear for hours on end. Despite their light weight, they provide excellent sound isolation, which meant that none of the sounds occurring in our busy office interrupted our listening.
