Sennheiser Momentum Review

It's never an easy decision to spend $350 on a set of cans, but if you're going to, you could do a whole lot worse than the Momentum – we see people do it every day.

Clear with solid range; Balanced sound for all genres; Noise isolation works well; Lightweight; Thoughtful and elegant design

Not foldable; A little pricey

Great for the price and awesome looks

I own a pair of Momentum Over-ears and i've always loved them. When i saw this in-ear model coming out I had to get it right away.

The design is great and the is definetly the sennheiser-quality

I waited a bit more depth from the sound but it's great when one gets used to it

Sennheiser Momentum Over-Ear Headphones Review

If you've stepped into an audio store of any kind, or the headphone section of a big box store, you know the name Sennheiser. The first "real" headphones I bought were Sennheisers. I used them until the pleather on the cups cracked and started sticking to my ears (they were on-ears).

Build quality and aesthetics; Sound quality; Angle cable end

Overly large case; Small earcups

Sennheiser Momentum In-Ear

Sennheiser has extended its over-ear and on-ear Momentum headphone line into the in-canal earphone realm. The $99.95 Momentum In-Ear earphones are significantly more affordable than the previous Momentum headphones, but they still come with an air of luxury thanks to their simple, elegant design.

Powerful audio performance with robust bass response and bright highs; Lightweight, elegant design; Excellent carrying case

Can be too bright at times; Only comes with two pairs of eartips

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless Headphones Review

You get what you pay for: The $499 Sennheiser Momentum Wireless headphones are nearly perfect. The design is timeless, albeit a tad understated, and the rich audio with the spacious soundstage is trademark Sennheiser. I also appreciated the quick wireless setup and the intuitive controls.

Rich; crystal-clear audio; Attractive; sturdy design with premium materials; Good active noise cancelling; Easy-to-use wireless controls

Expensive

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless: Premium wireless sound for a premium price

While it may be a bit overpriced, the Momentum 2.0 Wireless is an excellent and well-designed Bluetooth headphone with active noise-cancellation that also offers strong wired performance.

Sennheiser Momentum Black Closed Circumaural Headphones

As I mentioned earlier in this review, I have tried out and owned a lot of different headphones and earphones over the years. I'm not a full-on audiophile, but I do love good, clean sound. I'd much rather have accurate and well-balanced sound than brain shaking bass. Not that bass is a bad thing.

Package and case are stellar; Super comfortable; Two cables - one for Apple products; one for everything else; Fantastic clarity and overall well-balanced sound; Black leather & red stitching; Stainless steel; Appear and feel quite durable

A bit expensive

Review: Sennheiser Momentum

Sennheiser's new headphones are more than just good-looking, they're downright sexy. Maybe it's all the brown leather, but the Momentums seem to be steeped in that same, oddly masculine brand of cool that hovers like a halo over the best gear from 30 or 40 years ago.

Fantastic sound with superior isolation; So compact, so comfortable; High price is actually reflected in the build quality - a rarity among style-minded consumer headphones; It wouldn't surprise me to see a photo of Steve McQueen wearing these, along with a Tag Heuer Monaco, a cashmere turtleneck...

Kostspielig; Not as compact as truly mobile-minded headphones; Not for vegans; Case is too bulky to throw in a carry-on

Sennheiser Momentum

A bit snug. The point on which reviewers disagree most about these Sennheiser Momentum headphones is how comfortably they fit. Most reviewers find them comfortable and not too heavy. Wired magazine notes that the individual ear cups rotate slightly to "give you a nice seal without too much clamp.

Excellent sound; Great build quality; Stylish design; Good passive noise blocking

Uncomfortable for some users; Cables and connectors may break easily

Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless

At nearly 300 USD, the Momentum True Wireless are not a cheap, throwaway pair of wireless earphones. Do they sound like a 300 USD product When compared to top performing wired earphones in that price range, no, not entirely.

Feature set (Transparent Hearing esp.) – Refined tune – Amazing connection strength through obstacles

Will only pair with one device at a time – Underwhelming battery life – Touch controls are a mixed bag
