In terms of sounds quality I cant disagree with most of the reviews on here. These things are phenomenal. But they wont last you for more than a couple of years. The cable broke on mine after a year of use.

As an owner of the original IE8 I was looking for something similar to upgrade to and saw that Sennheiser had just released the IE80S. After about a week with the earphones now I can happily report that they have improved on the original design significantly.

The Sennheiser IE 80 S earphones offer audio performance in line with their lofty price, and a number of attractive features, like adjustable bass and a detachable cable.
