Compared several in this price range. Open back is more "open" sounding. Can be driven by IBASSO DX 160 well. Sounds crisp. Bass not overwhelming.

Wow, what to add to the many excellent reviews written here re the new Sennheiser Headphones Well now for me, as a baby boomer who has been spoiled with technology all his life, I must write about my personal experience with this new, brilliant enhancement to my audio life..

I have had many h/phones over the years LCD 3 HD800s and so on but pound for pound nothing matches HD 650 and now the HD660s.In my opinion they are the best by far in this price range and a fair bit above. I know it is a matter of preference.
