No problems.

I installed them in a Seagate NAS unit running Windows Storage Server 2012. They are fast and have performed flawlessly in a disk pool for almost 2 years.

Comparable to WD RED

Got this for $158.88 from another chain clearance sale. Seagate has the Ironwolf series replacing this. Works fine in my DS413.

Works with my Synology

Used to replace two WD Red drives which failed in a 4 bay NAS within a couple days of each other. Now have a mix of drives and these seem to be OK.

I have three of thes and they are good.

With the lower rotational speed (5400 RMP if I recall) I was not expecting these drives to be speed demons, but they actually have just as good or better transfer rate to the 7200 RPM drives on sequential transfers, which is mostly what I do.

The biggest plus for me has been the low temperatures and low power consumption; I originally setup a NAS using the Seagate Desktop drives that are 7200 RPM drives; They put off some real heat; I had to upgrade the fans in my NAS to keep them cool.

All Seagate drives give "Raw Read Error" information in the SMART status that makes the drives look like they will croak any second; I have seen it from Seagate Constellation, Seagate Desktop and in these Seagate NAS drives; I am not a big fan of that, but it is to be expected of any Seagate.

I purchased four of these for my QNAP NAS and within a few hours one was dead. So much for reliability.

Works exactly as advertised

NetGear doesn't have many 4TB drives approved for use with m ReadyNAS Ultra 4. This was the most cost-effective one. Plugged right in, works just fine. Large capacity, good price, quiet, fast.

Excellent hard drive - very quite

Bought 2 of these for my new NAS and the difference between these 2 and my old 1's is amazing - far quieter. definitely recommended and I plan to get 2 higher capacity 1's in the future to complement the 2 I already have.

Good Drive

Seagate my make of choice, bought 4 of these for a NAS and they are very quiet, set up as RAID 5, all drives individually packed to offer very good protection during delivery, would recommend

Seagate always looking good

Got the Seagate NAS 4 tb and I am pleased, seems to work well and is compatable with all NAS based systems. I am a little wary that the product came packaged in a NON-SEALED brown cardboard box like when I install a dozen or so of NAS based drives, and that purchasing in other retails store also...
