Failed
I loved the picture quality of this TV, but it broke after less than 2 months of use. I have a 9 or 10 year old Samsung TV that still works well, but these new ones are cheaply made.

Samsung Q9 series (2018) review: Sumptuous picture quality in designer garb at a luxury price
The Samsung Q9 is an amazing performer with exquisite design and loads of extras, but it costs more than OLED TVs and doesn't perform as well. The fight at the top of the TV market has never been tighter. In one corner, the challengers are flagship LCD-based TVs like the Samsung Q9 reviewed here, the Vizio P-Series Quantum and the Sony Master Series Z9F. In the other, the undefeated champions: OLED TVs like the LG B8 and C8 and the Sony A9F.
Pros:
- The Samsung Q9 has the best overall picture quality of any non-OLED TV I've reviewed, with exceedingly bright highlights, inky black levels with minimal blooming and best-in-class off-angle and bright-room performance
- Its innovative design makes hiding wires and stashing gear easy, and includes a unique Ambient mode that helps it blend into your decor when the TV is "off."
Cons:
- More expensive than OLED TVs with superior image quality
- Bixby can't compete with Alexa or Google Assistant
- Not available in a 55-inch size.

Possibly the best for 2018.

For the best LED TV money can buy, look no further than Samsung's Q9F.
Pros:
- Bright
- vivid picture
- Excellent HDR picture production
- Gorgeous and useful design elements
- Tizen OS is outstanding
- Extremely user friendly
Cons:
- Imperfect black levels

Samsung QE65Q9FAM
The QE65Q9FAM is Samsung's flagship 65-inch TV for 2017, and the first chance we've had to delve into the brand's new QLED technology. In other words, it's a pretty big deal. Its £4,900 price is likely to limit its market, and it doesn't quite live up to all of the QLED hype surrounding it.
Pros:
- Outstanding QLED picture quality
- Cool industrial design
- Handy external connection box
Cons:
- Expensive
- Banding over some subtle HDR blends
- Occasional backlight clouding issues

Samsung Q9F QLED TV (QE65Q9F) review
Just when you thought the AV world must have run out of confusing acronyms, Samsung has decided to hit you with another one: QLED , and the Samsung Q9F is its flagship.

- Lovely industrial design
- Minimal cabling to screen

- Some HDR colour banding
- Occasional backlight clouding
- Limited viewing angles

There's been debate all year about "QLED vs. OLED," "which one is better," etc etc. Samsung's Q9 flagship proves that well-tooled LED TVs with enough backlight horsepower can deliver a dazzling brightness/color experience that some viewers might actually prefer over OLED's abyssal black levels.

Awesome Color from Virtually Every Angle!
I was pretty satisfied with last year's Samsung KS9000, so when the new QLED models were shown at CES I was only mildly impressed. However, as I read more and more about the basis of the technology in the new panels, I became intrigued and subsequently decided to give the new Q Series a try.
Pros:
- Incredible color
- deep blacks
- incredible brightness
- innovative features
