Samsung Gear S3 Classic SM-R770
The new Samsung Gear S3 Classic is a stylish smartwatch that comes with a built-in GPS. It's therefore slightly larger than previous models. The GPS enables the location to be accurately predicted. One application is the golf app. Hence, S3 Classic also doubles up as a golf watch.
The leather band is available in navy blue or alligator brown colours.
The Gear 3 series also contain the Gear 3 Frontier model, which has a more industrial design.

Expensive but everything as expected.
Only regret I have is that 2 days after buying the watch I've got email from Samsung offering pre-order for new watch that is comming out in September for the same price as S3. Other than that happy with my purchase, especially headphones that came with the deal. LOVING IT
Used to be amazing.
I bought this about a year or two ago to go along with my new phone. I absolutely loved this watch until they sent a software update out. The update destroyed the battery life on the watch. The watch will say its at 2% then when I go to charge it, 5 minutes later it says its fully charged.
trash
i have never been able to get more than 8 hours out of this watch, if i make a call with 40 % of battery the watch will turn off and never turn on until i charge it back.- Bright display
- Durable
- The Samsung Gear S3 is an amazing and beautiful piece of technology
- It is very stylish and impressive
- I am able to use the Health and workout features on the smartwatch
- plus listen to Music
- receive and make Phone Calls
- have my Contacts on hand (literally)
- check the Weather
- receive and send...
- Probably the only thing I don't like is that the battery needs to be charged more frequently than advertised on the Samsung website
- This might because I am new to the watch, and am using as many of the apps and features as possible
I have just recieved this today as a gift for my sons 18th, i was aware the product was used and picked the one titled very good at a higher price, however iam utterly shocked of the grime around the edges of the watch, like it has come off someones wrist ,had a new strap slapped on it and put in...

Samsung Gear S3 review: Android Wear, beware, this is the smartwatch to beat
Samsung has been in the wearable game longer most other tech companies. From its original Galaxy Gear through to now with its latest Gear S3 - available in Classic and Frontier models - the progression shows the company's refined focus on its smartwatch proposition.- Great design and craftsmanship
- built-in GPS
- battery achieves nearly four days use
- Tizen OS very intuitive and smooth
- Lack of app support is telling
- limited features for iOS users
Review: Samsung Gear S3 Classic
A few more apps and Samsung might beat Android Wear at its own game - this is a superb smartwatch, if not quite the best just yet.
Samsung Gear S3 review: bigger and better, but not without flaws
The Samsung Gear S3 offers some clear improvements over the previous generation - most notably the amazing 3-4 day battery life. That really is class leading for an advanced smartwatch like this. The excellent rotating bezel and Tizen OS have been carried over.- Amazing battery life
- Sharp
- vibrant screen
- Tizen OS
- Frontier looks great
- Classic is ugly
- Too chunky for some
- Lacks apps
- US get more features
Samsung Gear S3 review: the best of both worlds
Samsung used IFA 2016 as the stage to present two more smartwatch models, thus expanding its wearables portfolio. The Gear S3 Classic and the Gear S3 Frontier combine the features we already had the pleasure of using on the Gear S2 in 2015, in addition to the more recent fitness tracker functions...- long battery life
- simple controls thanks to the bezel
- well-made
- water and dust-proof with IP68 certification
- variety of apps limited
- the bezel rattles slightly
