When you can do so much with your smartphone, it's easy to assume that your smartwatch needs to be equally capable in order to make it worthwhile on your wrist. Problem is, all those talents can turn the wearable experience into a confusing morass of tapping, swiping, scrolling, and swearing.

I purchased this online from Verizon. i set it up per the tiny set up paper that came with it. set up was smooth. but right off the bat i had issues getting my text messages and my battery was discharging when it was turned off.

Samsung seems to have gotten the wearable right. And we do mean it when comparing the Gear S2 with other smartwatches that have been around in India. Officially launched in October 2015, the Gear S2 was pushed by Samsung into India only recently.

Android Wear currently rules the smartwatch roost, running on more devices than we could possibly list off the top of our heads. While that's a great thing for Google, it's not for consumers.

While having the best smartwatch in the market right now may not mean much, Samsung's Gear S2 is definitely it. The fact that it's cheaper than an Apple Watch or LG Watch Urbane just adds points in its favour.
