Samsung at IFA 2017
Samsung has already unveiled the Galaxy Note8 just a week prior to the IFA in Berlin. It did even spill the beans, accidentally or not, on the Gear Fit2 band. So, what was left for the actual expo then?

The Gear Fit2 Pro isn't Samsung's most interesting wearable to date, but it looks simple and feels comfortable on the wrist. The screen is great and the onboard fitness features are intuitive and easy to use.

Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro
ImageTagInstance gallery-71fb0348-8b9a-429b-8cc3-f5d27b74fd45 Today’s fitness tracker market feels oversaturated with devices of various shapes, sizes, and feature sets to the point where simply choosing which one you want to get becomes an exercise much tougher than the ones you’ll be doing once you actually buy it.But despite this, last year Samsung still managed to position its HTMLTagInstance html-tag-9259fe31-9267-46f5-ae79-d713ead45e21 Gear Fit 2 as one of the best options on the market, thanks to its inclusion of almost every major feature you can think of — and then some. So it’s not exactly surprising that, rather than release an all-new entry in its Gear Fit series this year, Samsung instead chose to simply give the Fit 2 a better water resistance rating, slap a “Pro” at the end of its name, and call it a day. /124260794/.2_6924.3_phonearena.com_tier1 But as it turns out, not many other fitness trackers possess the ability to be used while swimming; so while this addition may...

Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro Review – A more complete standalone Health Tracker
Like the Samsung Gear Fit 2, the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro is a fitness tracker designed for the masses, with more complete fitness tracking, which now includes swimming. The offline Spotify music and playlists support and improved standard watch strap really make it better than before.

The Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro might be a fitness tracker first and a fairly good one at that, but it doesn't fall short when it comes to being a smartwatch too. If you're looking for better apps above and beyond the fitness-focused ones, the Samsung app ecosystem may not be for you and you're perhaps...

The Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro isn't a game-changer compared to its predecessor, but waterproofing and continuous heart tracking are welcome additions, especially since they come without a price bump. The Pro model has been launched at the same Rs. 13,990 price as Gear Fit 2, and is already down to Rs.
Pros:
- Built-in GPS
- Super AMOLED screen is still great
- Waterproofing
- can track swims
- Full notifications support
Cons:
- Region-locked store is frustrating
- Display is weak outdoors
- Inaccurate without GPS

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro
The Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro is one of the smartest fitness trackers out there. It's perfect if you are training for a marathon and have a strict regimen. However, if fitness is not your thing, there's no point wasting Rs 13,590 for a watch that will double up as a second screen for your smartphone.
Pros:
- Auto activity detection
- Punchy display
- Solid build
- Swimming-proof
Cons:
- Poor battery
- Cumbersome setup process
