So, the Gear Fit2 Pro is another fine wearable from Samsung. The trouble is that so is the original Gear Fit2 and thanks to the inescapable march of time, it's now very, very cheap. And almost as good.
Samsung's Gear Fit2 Pro (Large) certainly looks the part, thanks to its futuristic and sleek design. But do the features match those good looks? Let's find out!
You can stay motivated in many ways with the Gear Fit 2 Pro. For example, Under Armour Records lets you monitor activity, sleep and workout stats on one dashboard. Plus, you can share your stats and progress with Under Armour's social network. In a similar vein, Endomondo is a worldwide community of fitness enthusiasts, all ready and willing to keep you motivated as you strive for your running goals. While MapMyRun lets you use real time maps to plan and track routes for running, walking or cycling, and capture every stage of that activity.
This device detects and logs your movements across a wide range of activities.
Because it measures your heart rate on a continuous basis, the Gear Fit2 Pro can assist you in making exercise decisions based on your current heart rate.
The Gear Fit 2 Pro offers IP68 protection, for immersion in water beyond one metre, and no dust ingress.
It's often music that makes exercise bearable, and with 4 GB of memory, you can stack your Gear Fit2 Pro with all your favourite sounds.

I went and brought this watch as I am wanting something that will keep me going and motivate myself, this watch does this. The only problem I do have with it is that it needs to be charged every few days which can be a bit of a pain if I forget to charge it up during the night so it is ready for...
This watch is not only aesthetically pleasing but extremely versatile as different watch faces can be changed easily and different apps added to give it even more functionality. It charges relatively quickly and it is very responsive with hand gesture to turn it on.
It detects activities automatically; Captures sleep and steps consistently
Battery life is not that great; Needs charging every 36 to 48 hours
Everything on this device works flawlessly. Doesn't lag or slow down. All the apps work without glitching. Has so many more options than the Fitbit Charge 2...for the same price. Touch screen is so smooth. Waterproof mode works perfect.
Its perfect for what I need! And a great price!
I bought watch a year back. Suddenly it got heated up onearly one day and completely switched off. Never started up. I approached service center got quote of 5500/- for a motherboard. Presently regreat my decision why I bought it.
1) Doesn't work with any of the Samsung tablets we own. Had to use an iPhone to get the app required to download the data. We used to be loyal to Samsung but no more. 2) The GPS data is so very wrong. Apparently I can do 150 kilometers in 40 minutes of running. It is never correct.
I had it for few weeks now. I get good battery life, has independent gps location tracking. Music can be downloaded to the device and is pretty functional. If it had more apps, which are useful, it would be better. I wish it could take voice commands. Also, built-in speakers would be nice.
Bright display; Realistic color; Lightweight
no voice commands; no built-in speakers; hence cannot answer phone call
Great smart watch only issue is only special bluetooth headphones link to watch
