Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro Large

Samsung's Gear Fit2 Pro (Large) certainly looks the part, thanks to its futuristic and sleek design. But do the features match those good looks? Let's find out!

It's Highly Motivational

You can stay motivated in many ways with the Gear Fit 2 Pro. For example, Under Armour Records lets you monitor activity, sleep and workout stats on one dashboard. Plus, you can share your stats and progress with Under Armour's social network. In a similar vein, Endomondo is a worldwide community of fitness enthusiasts, all ready and willing to keep you motivated as you strive for your running goals. While MapMyRun lets you use real time maps to plan and track routes for running, walking or cycling, and capture every stage of that activity.

Every Move You Make

This device detects and logs your movements across a wide range of activities.

All Day Heart Rate Monitor

Because it measures your heart rate on a continuous basis, the Gear Fit2 Pro can assist you in making exercise decisions based on your current heart rate.

Not Scared To Get Wet

The Gear Fit 2 Pro offers IP68 protection, for immersion in water beyond one metre, and no dust ingress.

Music On The Run

It's often music that makes exercise bearable, and with 4 GB of memory, you can stack your Gear Fit2 Pro with all your favourite sounds.

Stay In Touch

When you're on the run, you can still stay in touch with real-time notifications that lets you reply to any messages you may receive.

Samsung Gear Fit 2 review: Fit Up, Look Sharp

The Samsung Gear Fit 2 is a well-round fitness tracker that's more than the sum of its parts. Its integrated GPS and heart-rate sensor are both on point, while its sizeable screen is both beautiful and responsive.

Accurate distance and heart-rate tracking; Solid notification options; Cool and comfortable design; Bright and crisp display

Uninspiring battery life; S Health lacks training advice; Live data is limited

Samsung at IFA 2017

Samsung has already unveiled the Galaxy Note8 just a week prior to the IFA in Berlin. It did even spill the beans, accidentally or not, on the Gear Fit2 band. So, what was left for the actual expo then?

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro Review: Hands-On

#IFA2017 – Samsung unveiled its new wearable lineup at IFA in Berlin, and the new Gear Fit2 Pro is the successor of the Gear Fit2. The new smart band gets water resistance up to 5 ATM (Atmosphere, a pressure unit) certification and salt resistance, meaning that users will be able to track swim even...

The Gear Fit2 Pro isn't Samsung's most interesting wearable to date, but it looks simple and feels comfortable on the wrist. The screen is great and the onboard fitness features are intuitive and easy to use.

Love it!

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and I love it! Very clever little watch. Connected 1st time to my S6 Edge + with no problems what so ever. So easy to navigate around. Love the water lock feature as I can now wear it for work. Haven't found anything I don't like about it.

The wearable biz has grown at a super-fast pace in the last couple of years, and Samsung has been trying to be one of the top players here from the very beginning. This year, the South Korean firm released updates to all of its devices, and in addition to the Gear S3, which is one of the most...

Very Good Poduct

I had it for few weeks now. I get good battery life, has independent gps location tracking. Music can be downloaded to the device and is pretty functional. If it had more apps, which are useful, it would be better. I wish it could take voice commands. Also, built-in speakers would be nice.

Bright display; Realistic color; Lightweight

no voice commands; no built-in speakers; hence cannot answer phone call

Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro Review – A more complete standalone Health Tracker

Like the Samsung Gear Fit 2, the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro is a fitness tracker designed for the masses, with more complete fitness tracking, which now includes swimming. The offline Spotify music and playlists support and improved standard watch strap really make it better than before.

Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro review

The Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro arrives at a weird time. It's an upgrade to the Gear Fit2 but entering a world where fitness trackers are seemingly losing steam to more capable smartwatches, which are getting better at, and focusing more on, health and activity tracking.

That gorgeous display; Offline Spotify; Even more fitness features

HR and swimming inaccuracies; Some connectivity/sync problems; Battery could be better

Great features

I bought this activity tracker a month ago. I initially had problems logging into my spotify on it but i have since figured it out. Its great i can also store my favourite songs on the watch itself and the black and red colour is absolutely fab.
