This tablet is a good size and has decent performance. It could use greater internal storage for running apps that cannot be transferred to the micro SD card. Overall, the tablet is a good bet.

We bought this for the MIL for Christmas and like most older people, is new to the tablet world. She loves it though. Perfect for her to browse Facebook, listen to music and read on the couch. She doesn't mind the screen quality, but I find it to be of lower quality, hence the lower price.
price; battery life; ease of use
screen is pretty meh
Good tablet
Easy To Use
Hard To Set Up
The price is right for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0. Starting at $229, the 8-inch model is the first Samsung budget tablet to boast a price as modest as its specs. (UK availability has yet to be announced, but the US price converts to around £230.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A is affordably priced and offers many premium app perks for free; Its microSD slot accommodates cards up to 128GB
The plastic construction feels cheap, and the single speaker provides weak audio; The text often appears pixelated
After staying away from the tablet market for almost a year, Samsung introduced a new budget-friendly tablet series back in March. First launched in Russia, the Galaxy Tab A series has now made its way to other markets around the world, including the US.
-Great battery life; Good audio quality; Pleasant software experience
-Overpriced -Low resolution display -Slower performance
Every now and then Samsung will make a lower end tablet with a nicely inexpensive price to stay in competition with other companies out there, and the Galaxy Tab A is definitely inexpensive.

Poor camera quality
I was a little anxious about purchasing outside the Apple product family. But with their need take all the ports off of their computers and phones, along with their prices being so much more, made me want to try something different again. I use this tablet with my Phantom 4 pro drone.
Recently purchased this product and very happy with the size of storage and ease of functions.
This is an ok tablet for very basic use. It is super sensitive on the edges so i find i often end up touching parts of the screen unintentionally. Fine for email and basic surfing. Probably worth spending more if you need more than that.
It is great. takes good pictures, and have no problem with chat time, or skype. great size. Not to big, nor to small. Easy to hold, and handle. Would recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a great small window to the world.
