Yesterday we officially attended the official launch of Samsung's newest tablet, the Galaxy Tab A 8 . We first featured that Galaxy Tab A 8 a few days ago, and many of you shared your thoughts on the specs, and features of the tablet.

After staying away from the tablet market for almost a year, Samsung introduced a new budget-friendly tablet series back in March. First launched in Russia, the Galaxy Tab A series has now made its way to other markets around the world, including the US.

Considering the price of Galaxy Tab A 8.0, the tablet is a nice offering from Samsung. Though it lacks a fancy Full HD screen and a hefty processor, daily tasks are easy to perform due to its light weight, old but useful design and a newly prepared smooth, Android Lollipop based TouchWiz interface.

If you are looking for a tablet that can do more than just provide you with a big screen for multimedia and gaming then the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 LTE is something that you might want to consider.

The plastic construction feels cheap, and the single speaker provides weak audio; The text often appears pixelated

Every now and then Samsung will make a lower end tablet with a nicely inexpensive price to stay in competition with other companies out there, and the Galaxy Tab A is definitely inexpensive.

I bought this Samsung tablet for myself at a great price and am extremely happy with it! I got the 8" which is perfect for me so I'm glad I didn't go with the larger screen. I watch my sister cart her 10" tablet around and it looks too bulky for me.

Great features, installed Microsoft Office made it a bonus and aided in my daily work. Quality product with a very responsive touchscreen and an expandable memory storage. Highly recommended!
