Samsung Galaxy S9
Last year Samsung didn't unveil a Galaxy smartphone at MWC 17, instead focusing on its manufacturing standards and unveiling the Galaxy S8 a couple of months later. The move proved a smart one, with the Galaxy S8 taking top spot in our books as the best phone of the year.
Pros:
- Impressive design
- Bright and crisp display
- Great all round camera
- High powered processor
Cons:
- Bixby still meh
- Not a huge step up from S8

Samsung Galaxy S9 Smartphone Review
We prefer the Samsung Galaxy S9 over its larger sibling S9+. It is not as bulky and the dual-camera is not worth the additional price. The Korean manufacturer once again delivers a really great smartphone, but it is more of a facelift of last year's Galaxy S8 and there are still some bugs, and some...
Pros:
- appealing design, great display, fast SoC, LTE Cat
- 18, protected against water and dust, expandable storage, Dual-SIM SKU available (Duos, good sensor equipment, USB 3.1 with DP, HDMI, and OTG, great camera, wireless charging, Ultra HD videos at 60 FPS
Cons:
- can overheat under load
- videos at 60 FPS with a limited runtime
- no Dual-VoLTE
- long charging time
- warranty excludes damages caused by liquids

Samsung S9 review: a refined Android flagship with show-stealing camera
The Samsung Galaxy S9 is, in terms of hardware and design, an iterative update of last year's Galaxy S8 . The S9 features the exact same screen as last year's phone, the same amount of RAM and storage, the same capacity battery, and an almost identical design, too.
Pros:
- 12MP rear camera with dual-aperture technology
- Still fabulous Super AMOLED 18.5:9 QHD+ screen
- AR Emoji
- while not perfect
- are lots of fun
Cons:
- Similar specs to the Galaxy S8

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Smartphone Review
But ultimately, regardless if additional features are useful or not, they don't hurt the phone at all. You don't have to use them. With respect to these smartphones as a whole, we can easily say they're the best-rounded smartphones you can buy right now.

Samsung Galaxy S9 review
While it may not have been the company which started the trend - some would argue that honour falls to Xiaomi with its stunning Mi Mix - Samsung is arguably the firm that popularised the concept of a 'big screen' smartphone.

Great phone!
I was very hesitant at first, because I've had LG for a very long time, but I decided to make the switch to the galaxy S9. And I love it! Very easy to use, great camera, has pretty much everything I need. Glad I made the switch!

Samsung Galaxy S9 (256GB, Midnight Black) - Excellent review
The conclusion for the Galaxy S9 is always the toughest part to write as it’s where we have to reconcile all the pros and cons of the device and making a verdict on its value as a product to customers.

Samsung's latest flagship is really good if you spend most of your time in Instagram feeds or creating content for the internet. For everything else the handset is just a marginal upgrade on last year's Galaxy S8 but you'll be pleased to know that the experience has been refined somewhat in a number...

If you don't read the rest of this review, the short answer is yes. Samsung's Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ represent the very best of smartphone technology at the moment, and likely for many months to come. Let's throw out a few quick opinions: That's what leads us to the downsides.

Samsung Galaxy S9 (256GB, Midnight Black) - Excellent review
Samsung is officially kicking off the year w/ the 1st flagship of 2018: the Galaxy S9. Throughout the years, the Galaxy S line has beefed up the cameras, hardware, battery life, software, & even their name (the 1st 2 versions had names based on the carrier they were on, it was a mess back in the...
