Samsung Galaxy S9 review - "A worthy addition or a small iteration on the S8"
It may not be the revolutionary step-up that the S8 was, but the S9 is still the best Android smartphone you can buy at this moment in time

Great Successor to the S8
I had the Galaxy S8 and the I-Phone 8 Plus and this phone is excellent for the most part. The battery life is good given I keep the display set on QHD. Why keep it on HD or FHD if the screen resolution is QHD I find that a charge does last me the day with adjustments to increase battery life.
Pros:
- QHD+ Display
- Good Battery Life
- on Standby
- Keyboard input is fast
- Dolby Atmos is Great sounding
- AKG Earphones
- Fingerprint Sensor Good
- Camera is Great
- Photos come out well
Cons:
- Speakerphone a bit low
- Some Ringers are low in volume
- Battery drains fast if screen stays on

No USB connector in box so can't be sure it's a new untampered box
The phone generally seems fine and as expected from a Samsung although battery life and motion detection/face recognition could be better. The box cane with a seal saying "European SIM only" and all the manuals are non-English. However the adaptor was UK which was weird.

The best Galaxy yet
Samsung certainly increases the speed, without much trouble.
Pros:
- Best all-round mobile phone with Android at present. Outstanding camera and fast hardware.
Cons:
- Not the best battery. Facial recognition is slow and inaccurate.

Cons:
- Camera software oversharpens images., AR Emoji and Bixby disappoint.

Great color, great design
Better then I expected so far. Still learning all the features. Seems very easy to operate. Transferred all the information from my other phone easily.

Junk
Bought as upgrade/replacement for s7 edge that broke while travelling in europe. Battery life sucks, narrower body is awkward to use, lack of home button makes it more difficult to operate. On the plus side, the camera is a big step up for low light pictures but it's poor value for money.

Fantastic!
Great phone, well done Samsung. Has everything you would expect from a Samsung smartphone and more. The pictures are exceptionally vivid and clear and the effects make even better photographs. Sound quality is a definite upgrade on my previous s7, the AKG in-ear headphones are very good quality.
